Eggstatic over this
I loved the idea of this little coop, but wasn't sure how my chickens would respond. They didn't even require a warming-up day to figure it out. Went up before dark on day 1 and made themselves at home. Particularly love the ease of maintenance. Expensive, but probably not much more than building one of similar features with your own materials. It has performed well in summer and winter. I live in grizzly country, so I did erect a simple electric fence and cage system around it for the run and security.

This is a GREAT investment and Quality Product!
I can't speak highly enough of Omlet - they really understand chickens, customers, and customer service. If only every company operated this way! This is the first review I've ever felt compelled to write, simply based on how thoughtfully Omlet develops their products and serves their customers.I've owned several Omlet products, and their customer service really is outstanding, as are their manuals and instructional videos. I ended up losing some parts for my Autodoor, years after my initial purchase when moving the door to a new coop, and Omlet sent me the package that I needed - no questions asked and no invoice.I recently ended up needing another few screws that went missing in a move, and consulted the manual online which clearly had every screw labeled with dimensions so it was incredibly easy to replace. The Cube is no exception to Omlet's awesomeness - it went together in a couple of hour long sessions, and my girls took to it, after some gentle coaxing, within a couple of days. Everything is so easy to move, access & clean. I do miss the lofty ceilings of their old custom made wooden coop, however the girls don't seem to mind at all. The large nesting box is awesome, and I love being able to use wood shavings for nesting rather than expensive nesting pads. My cost and effort on procuring pine shavings and nesting pads has been eliminated, as now we just use wood shavings entirely. My only recommendation for improvement to Omlet would be to have the locking device for the large door access pre-installed, like it is on the nesting box. It has been no hardship though to not have this already in place.I look forward to years of happy girls and yummy eggs in their mid-century modern Cube. I'd highly recommend Omlet products to anyone that loves chicken keeping!!

NICE, BUT LOTSA HASSLES.
THIS IS A VERY NICE COOP AS CONCERNS BOTH APPEARANCE AND CLEANING ABILITY: JUST SPRAY WASH IT CLEAN WITH YOUR GARDEN HOSE. HOWEVER, BEWARE! THE WIRE FENCING SECTIONS ARE ALL HELD TOGETHER BY MERE PLASTIC CLIPS, (THEY DONT TELL YOU THIS), thus the CAGE, or "CHICKEN RUN," IS EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY FLIMSY AND WEAK, HIGHLY VULNERABLE TO PREDATOR ATTACK. YOU COULD USE SMALL, SCREW-TYPE PLUMBER PIPE CLAMPS INSTEAD, BUT I JUST TORE THE WHOLE FENCING THING OUT. IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY! I LIVE IN THE WOODS, SO I WILL HAVE TO MAKE MY OWN, VERY SECURE, CHICKEN RUN AREA INSTEAD (ANY MORON COULD MAKE SOMETHING BETTER THAN THIS). OTHERWISE, ITS A VERY NICE COOP, BUT THEY ARE VERY DECEPTIVE IN THE INSTRUCTION BOOK ABOUT LENGTH OF TIME IT TAKES TO ASSEMBLE IT ALL. I'M A GUY WHO HAS BEEN ASSEMBLING THINGS ALL MY LIFE (I'M NOW AGE 74), AND IT SEEMS THEY BASED THEIR TIME FIGURES ON THEIR OWN BEST, MOST EXPERIENCED ASSEMBLER. THIS IS VERY RUDE! IT WILL MAKE YOU QUITE ANGRY! THEY ALSO ARE EXTREMELY PENNY PINCHING ON EXTRA SCREWS: LOSE ONE, AND YOU ARE FORCED TO GO TO YOUR HARDWARE STORE! IS THIS A PRODUCT OF CHINA? YES, OBVIOUSLY. I'VE READ THIS COMPANY, EGGLU, HAS LOTS OF SALES EVERY YEAR >>> PLEASE WAIT FOR THEM! I WOULD NEVER PAY THEIR FULL PRICE KNOWING WHAT I KNOW TODAY ABOUT THIS COMPANY. IN SUMMARY, THIS COOP IS PRETTY & CUTE, EASILY CLEANABLE, BUT YOU WILL WRESTLE WITH IT TOO... FOR DAYS. YOU ARE PAYING FOR TONS OF ADVERTISING. IT'S OVERPRICED PLASTIC.

Wonderful part of our life
We have been using ours for over two years as a chicken tractor with the added chicken run enclosure and we love it. Keeping chickens has had its ups and downs, but having a great coop to start with has made it so much more easier for us. Do your research and all, but this coop and the Omlet systems are just super.

Not cheap but extremely well made.
Pros: Cool design, extremely sturdy, rainproof, easy access and cleaning.Cons: Expensive! Complicated assembly but all the parts were there. Instructions were so-so, lots of skipping around depending on whether you buy the attached run or not (I didn't.) Now I need to partially disassemble it to add the optional automatic door :(My girls are happy to lay their eggs in it, but so far won't sleep in it. I wanted to get away from the cheaply made 'cute' houses that barely last one season, and this fits the bill. Will update once the auto door is in.
