They seem to be good quality. Used them to make a raisable bed on my 1950 pickup with 60lb struts. Turned out nice. Depending on the weight you're using you may want to use longer screws, but minor detail. For the price, I don't think it gets better.

These are exactly what they should be. Very well made and the black finish seems to be durable.

I planned use these with gas shocks to support a heavy carpenter’s chest lid, but one was actually all i needed was one shock. These brackets were precisely made, look nice, accepted the shocks perfectly and supported all the stress just fine.

As stated before in another review the screws they send are basically wood screws and I doubt they would hold up under pressure. But...most of us are used to modifying out-of-the-box products to fit our particular application. No fault or downgrade in star rating for the seller. These are great STURDY mounts! I believe they would be strong enough to work on a vehicle hood application also. Which I plan on doing with another set. So, FIVE STARS FROM ME. :)

These are a must for gas struts over 60 lbs. If you don't have these as your strut mounts you'll be sorry because a lot of these strut kits from China usually include mounts which are inadequate and will bend and fail for struts rated higher than 60 lbs, based on my experience. May have an issue of trying to retrofit them since I had to return struts which could not be upgraded with these mounts. At least it was above my ability to do so.

These brackets are well constructed for attaching gas struts.

The small screws provided are not enough to hold 120lbs. Its easy to exchange them for larger screws or bolts. other than that, awesome product for the price. very nice. this is just a notice for people installing into wood using struts holding more than 100 lbs each.
