Just like the original, good Stanley product
Excellent replacement blade, naturally, had to sharpen it for proper use.

Stanley Plane iron
Nice finish, almost ready for use. Just a slight honing required. Seems to have the right hardness for the job.

78 mm thick and very poor quality steel - and to be more bizzare
if you look for answers about thickness of the blade saying it is 3 or 3, 5 mm thick -It is a Big Lye!I ve just got the blade today. It is 1, 78 mm thick and of very poor quality steel - and to be more bizzare, this tinny blade was packed in paper box measuring 55 cm x 20 cm x 10 cm. :)Yes these are correct measures of the package, the blade was packed in !!!!!!
