Simple, meaningful training without any fuss
The media could not be loaded. First, let’s be honest people.. any putting mat is not a substitute for a real green; a mat should be used to develop a repeatable stroke that gets a ball rolling end over end. Bc the reality is that real greens are much longer and wider, they have undulations, they have pitch marks and they have way too many things out of our control that a putting mat just can’t train us for. We just need something convenient to use inside while we’re working from home.Anyway, I chose this Perfect Practice V5 Compact mat for a few reasons:-setup/storage is quick and easy. I’d guess it’s about 3 mins to put away and 1 min to assemble-Having 8 feet of space is plenty for me, especially for my smaller apartment-1 hole is good enough, just like my wife says. I prefer to focus on 1 hole..an extra hole would be distracting and either way, I’m just working on my stroke and seeing those balls roll straight. Maybe in the future, I’d wish I could stroke it into the other hole but I’m happy with the 1 I have-I love the ball return. Now, I don’t have to waste any effort walking back and forth, I can stay where I am and just hit ball after ball after ball-The quality is great too. No kinks in the mat, this thing is essentially a thick (but not tall) mousepad that rolls out very flat. Its smooth, the grass is just a printAll in all, I’m super happy with this purchase. I’m looking forward to frequent, long sessions just stroking it into that tiny hole and watching these balls perform the way god intended them to. 5 stars!!

Great putting practice mat for small spaces
I've used many of the popular putting practice matts, and although nothing compares to practice on the course or at a range, this is a great practice matt for at-home use in smaller spaces. The fact that it only takes up about 1 ft. x 1 ft. of space when rolled up is particularly helpful for storage when not in use - and it comes with a storage bag, which is a nice feature. The ball return strip also rolls up nicely and works surprisingly well. The only downside is that when it's unrolled, it takes a little while to be completely smoothed out, meaning that the matt stays wavy unless you flatten it out with something (I used some old textbooks and that eventually worked). The matt does have a couple of Velcro strips on the bottom, but even when set up on carpet they don't really help.

Great Quality and Performance. A few design flaws (in my opinion)
I purchased this product because I the quality appeared much greater than the $50, plastic products. The result in that category was better than I expected. I love the feel of the mat, the wood is really nice, and I even love the sound of the ball going "plunk" into the hole.I almost didn't purchase this product because of the hole size. Neither hole is regulation, and one, regulation sized hole in the middle is what I was looking for -- for whatever reason, nobody is offering this (in good quality). I guess beggars can't be choosers. The result there is a bit worse than I expected. The mat just isn't wide enough for two holes. Especially the smaller (right) hole, if you hit the ball a little to the right, it'll hit the edge and come right back. That being said, the two holes are growing on me. I can barely even notice the left hole is smaller than regulation... I am enjoying using it, and i do think it's helping me with my putting stroke. In summary - it's a really good product, but I'm frustrating with decisions made on some of the measurements, so I'm on the fence about whether I'd recommend at this point.

A ball or two makes for fun.
Fun evening game with my wife. Rolls out, then back up for an easy game to play in your living room...with the TV on, if desired.

Good design
Great for practicing putting stroke. Helps keep putter square during entire put. Speed of put is average, not too fast or too slow. The slope at the end encourages a firmer stroke that is too strong to emulate faster greens. Overall a good practice device.

Worth the money.
Easy to assemble and then store. Ball return works great!

Easy to pack up and roll out
This mat is very easy to pack away and get back out again. It packs up pretty small without damaging the mat. It made a great gift.

Addictive: This WILL Make You a Better Putter
I bought mine last year and it is TERRIFIC! The return feature enables you to hit a lot of putts in a short period of time and as the name implies, practice makes perfect. For example, I just timed myself on 7 foot putts and I made 30 out 30 in about 10-15 minutes. It's just over 9 feet long (although a 15 footer is available). I set mine up in our finished basement and I can make a lot of putts in the course of watching football game. It's simple to set up. It comes rolled up so it takes a while before it lies completely flat but it eventually does (I reversed rolled mine and let it set for a day or so and it was fine.) It has lines on the putting surface that help you align your putts. I found that if I focused on a mark about 5-6 inches beyond the ball, I became deadly. There are a lot of videos on its Instagram page that give you a good idea what you are buying.
