Q: How is pro retayne different than regular retayne?

Hi, There is absolutely no difference at all. Products are exactly the same. The PRO Retayne is the retail division and the G&K Retayne is from the wholesale division. Just different labeling :) Hope this helps.

Q: how much Retayne would I need for 14 yards (60" wide)?

For an extra wide piece of fabric like yours, you should 1 tablespoon of Retayne per pound of fabric. It would probably be best to treat your fabric in two separate batches to make sure it gets evenly treated.

Q: Can you use this in a front load washer?

Thank you for your interest in the Retayne that we sell. Front loaders do not have enough water for the fabric to move around freely and therefore treat the fabric so that does not bleed when it is cared for. We recommend that you treat the fabric by hand in a pot on top of the stove, following the directions on the label.

Q: Can i use this for raw silk, bamboo, aloe vera and soya fabric (similar to viscose)?

Retayne should be fine to use on your silk, bamboo, and soy fabrics. Aloe Vera is usually a treatment on the fabric, so not sure how the Retayne would affect it, you could contact your supplier and see what they recommend.
