Drop-in replacement F3YGT for Dell Latitude 7490
This battery, F3YGT, was a drop-in replacement for Dell Latitude 7490. Note well the size before ordering 9.4" (24 cm) 3.3" (8.4 cm). The battery included kit of plastic pry tool, and two small drivers for the hardware to open the case and remove the battery. Fit perfectly
So far all good, fit perfectly on my laptop and after fullly charged I use it extensively for 2 and half hour and still have 40% remaining on the battery indicator. I was expecting like 75% or more but thats what i’ve got do far...

Replacement battery for Dell Latitude 7490
The Replacement battery for Dell Latitude 7490 came packaged with a Phillips screwdriver. Installation was straightforward. Remove 8 screws that hold bottom cover onto laptop computer. Remove 3 screws that attach battery to internal chassis. Move battery interconnection cable from old battery to new battery. Install new battery making sure to insert tabs on side of battery opposite screws first. Replace laptop bottom cover.The whole process took about 15 minutes. The one thing I will mention is that the included screwdriver was slightly small for the screws on the computer and battery pack. My advice is to find your own Phillips screwdriver that properly fits. With an improperly fitting screwdriver it's easy to strip/mar the Phillips head of the screw.Battery life is just like new. I am writing this review on my laptop with the new battery installed. Perfect replacement for an older worn out battery that doesn't have much life anymore.
