Good product.
Used this to grow some grass for some mini aquarium projects I’ve been working on, didn’t want a whole lot, so this seemed a reasonable deal. Overall very happy with the product, seems to do its job really well, looks aesthetically pleasing too.

Worked well with my seeds.
Planted my seeds in this as directed. Plants were grown in 2 weeks.

No fog at all
The media could not be loaded. No issues at all threw this in and filled up, I did use a food container to add water with the lid on it and let the water seep out, didn’t just pour directly onto the medium

Great substrate and almost no dust!
This is a great substrate for a live aquarium. I have Amazon Swords, Hornwort, and a grumpy Chinese Algae Eater in this tank and they all love it. Perfect size. Not too light or heavy, plants stay rooted to the bottom with no problems. BUT make sure you get enough. 2lbs isn't very much at all. You'd probably need 4 bags for a 25-gallon aquarium. I only needed it for one part of my tank so this works for me but the money value isn't there so 4-stars.There was zero dust after I rinsed and cleaned the substrate. There is enough water flow through the substrate that the bottom of your tank doesn't become a bacteria feces farm. It's a good deal if the price doesn't thwart you.

Works amazing!
This works so well and looks so good! Just rinse it before you use and your water might be a little cloudy for a couple hours!

Just ok.
Don’t expect all these seeds to sprout. It took over a week for them to germinate and longer to grow roots. I tried multiple methods and all provided very slow results. I managed to grow some of them. Definitely not overly impressed.

2 pounds is a tiny amount!
I was surprised by how little 2lbs is. It shouldn't be measured by weight but by hand fulls! I bet it would barely cover the bottom of a 1 gallon jug. I suppose it is decent substrate but I think it's ridiculously expensive when you consider the amount you get. On top of receiving so little, the packaging was almost insulting. It was hand wrapped in basically plastic wrap...that's it...no label...no nothing. They might as well had put it in a slightly larger than average sandwich bag & taped that shut. I was so disappointed, in fact, it made me angry. I bought a much less expensive substrate and sprinkled this over it because I was starting a planted tank. I'll just use sand or something next time.

Love this gravel for tank
I loved how the gravel looked in my tank. I have a 2 gal tank and it was perfect. I still have a quarter of it left. I would rinse before use
