Beautiful Artwork
The colour is exact what is shown on the advert.

OK, but not the best quality student grade paint
The Pebeo studio colours are decent value, but their pigment load isn't the highest, so numerous layers are likely to be needed even with traditionally opaque pigments. they are a pleasant soft body consistency and nice to work with. I like to work with colour direct from the tube without mixing and they do have a good selection of bright high chroma colours.

Colour description does not match product
I bought this assuming it was going to be quinacridone scarlet, as indicated in the description of this item. What I received was primary magenta and I have now just realised that the picture in the Amazon listing is primary magenta. This is very disappointing and Amazon seems to think that paint is paint and the colours don’t matter. I will be getting my art supplies from other, much more reliable sources from now on. I’m not even going to bother returning it because who knows what they will send.
