A very nice interface.
This interface is great for anyone on a budget and wants high quality input into their pc. The latency was no issue and for me that's #1. I used it with my various amp sims and it did great. It did especially well with Bias FX2 which gave me trouble with their own interface. I like you can control the mix and levels of instrument 1 and 2. It has DAW monitoring and direct monitoring both of which can be mixed to your desired level. It has 2 instrument jacks and 2 XLR inputs for midi and headphones out and 48v of phantom power for the XLR's. This is how you do it, give the people what they need and what they want at a great price.

A great value.
The Mooer Steep I is an overall clean sounding interface that also has surprisingly decent pre-amps & low latency drivers. It's excellent for it's price point.

A basic mixer with very good sound
This device is a very basic mixer -- useful if you need one line in and one mic input device, or alternatively two line in devices. It allows for headphone monitoring, and two main outputs. There is also a USB out for connection to a PC.The sound quality is quite good for such a small unit; no EQ or FX on this device; these could be added using the PC audio software. The function buttons were easy to understand. I would have preferred an XLR or combo jack for the main outputs, as they only were 1/4 inch. Important note: This device only works with Windows 10 and above. If you only need to record a couple devices or a simple audio setup, this device is worth considering. It is compact and lightweight. It has two USB C outputs: One for direct connection to a PC, the other for power if the device is configured as a stand alone mixer.

Good enough
There is not as much gain as I would like, but good enough for condensers. I tried two dynamic mics and got no output whatsoever. With my little blogger type condensers I had the channel selects all the way up and the master at 60%. I don't really get how the mix knob is supposed to work, but that is probably the operator and not so much the machine. It fed my Windows computer and my old Zoom H1n simultaneously and without issue.I'm not sure if this is Amazon or Mooer, but I ordered a Steep II and got I's both times. I gave up trying to get the right one since I've had that before and Amazon just cancels the order if a third try is made. I have a real mixer if I ever need the extra XLR, but I would have liked the MIDI, just to have.I guess the OEM packaging is pretty decent as this is sent in a plastic envelope, not a shipping box. Both units arrived unscathed, quite surprisingly.Good little unit, competitively priced, good luck if you want a Steep II.

Simple, 2 in, 1 out Audio interface
I really like the Mooer. They have delivered a lot of surprisingly good-quality audio devices in the last year. Really good value, and thus far all the guitar pedals and power banks I've ordered from them have held up very well. This is a simple, inexpensive audio interface that punches above its weight. It has two audio input channels, each featuring a useful five-segment VU meter. It does not have a line in for your Xbox- just two mic/guitar inputs. It has one set of mains outputs and one headphone jack. So you can listen on headphones and monitors, while you record on your computer. But if you also want to record to an external recording device, you'll have to give up your headphones. For most folks, it's plenty of Inputs and outputs. The interface itself has a pretty textured aluminum shell up top. The chassis below is sturdy plastic. The knobs are sturdy plastic. It's a bit of a mix for me- from five feet away, it looks like a luxury item on my desk. The lights look sharp, and the VU indicators look great. The styling is modern and unique... But then you touch the plastic knobs or notice the plastic case. Don't get me wrong, the potentiometers beneath the knobs are quality and are nicely dampened. But at this price point, it's absolutely fine. The layout of the device is interesting- the power, USB, and audio outputs are all on the back of the interface. the headphone and audio inputs are on the right side of the interface. Also, note that the main out volume knob and mix knobs are on the right side of the case. Clearly, this device is designed with right-handed folks in mind. The quality of the mic amplifiers is very good.Phantom power is on or off for both channels- don't try using a ribbon mic with a condenser mic!The device was instantly discovered by my Windows 10 laptop and my Macbook. It's a nice audio interface. I hope my review helps!
