Much more than I expected

Thought I would give these a go as these are nearly half the price I normally pay for this type of dressing from another brand to protect a relative's large, ulcerous, leg wound. Found them to be not quite as thick & not as big, although they're supposed to be the same size, 20 X 20cm. However, not bad product considering the vast difference in cost you can pay for other packs of similar dressings. Recommend you give them a try & see how they work for your situation as these are certainly very reasonably priced. Arrived safely & quickly by the seller. Many thanks.

Eight weeks ago I had an operation which required daily dressing changes, and this is what the surgeons and nurses thereafter used on it. They are very soft and very absorbant and can be held to the wound with Mefix 10cm wide tape. Although the nurse can prescribe me these pads (and free in Scotland!), it takes a few days for the prescription to be processed and ordered before collecting them at the pharmacy. So looking on Amazon I was delighted to find you could buy them online and very affordable too at just under £6 at the time of writing - it was hardly going to break the bank! Pack of 15 will last me a while and because I'm a Prime Member, they arrive on my doorstep the following day. Happy! Thats exactly what you need when you have a surgical wound - prompt delivery and no worries!

These pads do exactly what is described. They control leaking legs by capturing the fluid and not letting it leak out. The pad is very comfortable and does not irritate or stick to the skin. I have now got confidence to go out wearing trousers without the fear of them soaking up what I am leaking. They arrived very quickly, I have prime so it was next day delivery. Very happy.

As for the non sterile dressings these seem to perform as well as the more expensive Mesorb cellulose wadded pads. The outer covering, though resistant to leaking, seems to be more air permeable. This should allow the damaged skin to recover more easily; however, time will tell. Certainly very good value for money as daily dressing changes are necessary.

Good value very absorbent pads that arrived very quickly via Prime. The pads themselves are great for very wet wounds but they are quite thick so will need something substantial to adhere them to the skin. We use a tubifast stocking to minimise skin trauma. Well packaged in individual sterile wrappers and packed in simple poly bags.

Arrive in plain plastic bag ok for medium leaking wounds not as. good.

These are wonderful. I had an accident a couple of weeks ago and need to kep a dressing on my leg. I bought some ....much smaller from Tesco. Tesco charged 17 pounds for 5 . They were only a quarter of the size of those from Amazon ....which were only around £5. Wonderful
