20kg Westland Play Sand

Sand is slightly damp so if you expect it to be completely dry its not but I actually preferred it to be slightly damp as it made a better sand castle

Good value for money, good quality, clean and great colour for a sand pit for children

This is ok as I only wanted it for my cats but it’s certainly not golden, and it had some pieces of debris. If I had got it for children I would be less impressed.

I ordered this for a sandpit in the garden. On opening the bag I discovered the sand was very dark in colour, semi wet & has small stones and black pieces of slate like material in it. When touching the sand it stained my hands brown. Definitely not suitable for small children to play with. When I looked at returning the 2 bags of sand weight 40kg was instructed to take to post office and pay for returns, this is not possible to carry that weight and minimum cost to return was £40 more than the sand cost!!

This sand is light in colour and ideal for sand castles.

Is super dark and the children keep saying it’s mud or poo and looks much more dirty on the hands - I’m hoping it lightens up as it dries but it definitely won’t be the colour on the bag image. The kids will still enjoy but is more messy and is very dark on their clothes with the appearance of dirt. The sand in itself appears consistent and arrives quite wet/damp.

Just what I needed. Child friendly and stain free. Excellent product to recommend. Also 25kg brilliant value for money. Other products more money and less weight.

I ordered sand from 3 different suppliers to fill my kids' sandpit, this is the best by far (I didn't think I would actually notice a difference). One was beautifully white but really coarse, one was quite brown and really too fine. This is just perfect, a nice blond colour, holds water well without feeling soggy.
