Q: Does this have internal brass fittings... " Brass ferulles"?

Yes, the “arms” are attached to the vertical pieces using brass bolts. The arms have brass fittings that receive the bolts.

Q: Is this strong enough for a solid SUP and a couple of surfboards?

Yes. So long as the wall fixings you use will take the weight.

Q: What are the dimensions of this? How far will it go from the wall? I dont follow the dimensions given.

The rack height is approximately 60cm and I have set them 3ft apart( it’s almost too far for my 5”10 board. The arms protrude about 30cm butthe boards will over hang further, by about 15cm. If you have anymore questions please ask.

Q: Can I use this outdoors ?

Yes you can, but like all wood, you may need add a coat of weather stain every once and a while. Bamboo does not like water and once the layer of stain erodes, it will need more. Thanks!
