Sydney Black & Walnut Large 2 Door TV Cabinet 140cm Unit

This is great, I got it because my LG 55 TV has it's feet on the left and right rather than a central stand, and I didn't trust my PC desk with it. It was easy to assemble, and looks rather nice.Mine arrived with 3 pieces missing, it could still be built but the thin strip of wood on the front would bulge a little. I contacted the seller who were kind enough to send my the pieces out by 1st class Royal Mail, I got them the next day and it's all sturdy and held together now. The side doors hold a lot more than I realised as well.

Being an unfit, arthritic 70 year old woman, I did worry I would not be able to put it together. I laid out the pieces on the floor and looked at them for three days before making a start. I used the old TV unit to balance one side as I slotted the dowels into place and then the backing card of an A2 acrylic art pad to get the right angles before tapping in the backing piece. Lo and behold it all worked.The only thing I could not do was screw in the very small screws on the arms to stop the cupboard doors going right down to the floor. The only screw driver I had small enough for them had come out of a Christmas cracker and it hurt my hand trying to screw them in. I need a very small tack to make the hole bigger to get it to grip, but with arthritic knees will never get down to do it - so awaiting an unsuspecting visitor to sort that out at some later date.Overall, I am very pleased with the look of the unit, think it is well worth the money and would recommend it.

I have to say I was a little sceptical upon ordering, and even when all the parts were out of the box but overall this is very good value for money.On the whole it was also very easy to assemble. The only tricky bit were the doors where the holes for the screws had not been drilled enough which made them a bit fiddly, and the hinges - not enough info on assembly (I'm normally useless at doing this sort of stuff and everything else was so simple I think the hinges confused me!)Upon completion happy to say the large, outdated amp sits very snuggly in the lower central "hatch"A word on the supplier, I specifically worked from home to arrange all my deliveries in one day so sent a note to request delivery on a specific day (5 days' notice). Got an email straight back confirming they would pass the note on, and yes, I received delivery on the date requested so very happy.Overall, the product is Easyjet not Ryanair!

This unit was packed so well, it took me 30 minutes to get into it. Protected very well, as you know, flat packed often arrives damaged. Not this one. It's building instructions are very easy to follow and it is simpler to build than you think. having said this, it is still of excellent quality and as sturdy as rocks!! The only let down on the look is it's feet and handles, which are good and sturdy, but plastic. Personal preference is it just ruins the end look, but not enough for me to dislike it. This is one of my better purchases and it holds my 52" tv perfectly. I use the cupboards for my non remote electrical goods, or you could drop down the door if you wanted a dvd player etc. So plenty of room for electrical goods!!!

The tv cabinet arrived before expected date. The delivery man brought it indoors as he said it was too heavy for me. My neighbour who makes flat packed furniture came to help me. It took some time to unpack it, but that was good as it was so well protected that there was no chance of any damage. The lack of instructions, only diagrams, and the fact that no pieces were numbered made it a more difficult task, but after 5 hours the result was a very stylish, solid, beautiful piece of furniture, matching in with my room. It looks more expensive than it's actual price. Would definitely recommend.

Found that I built the unit with no problems although it did take me some time. When completed was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy and secure it was. Image and colour was the same as advertised. Would definitely recommend and for the cost extremely good value.

product instructions werent easy to understand, ended putting the wrong walls in the wrong place. but figured it out myself and fixed it up. also the doors did not come with the punched in holes that should be made for the screws. otherwise quality wise,its perfect and looks gorgouse

Needed a new tv stand and decided to take my chances with this unit. Delivery was quick and arrived very well packaged, All parts were included and the unit went together very easy, Finish is good for the price door handles are a bit of a letdown as these are plastic but i will look to replace these. Managed to install my Denon av amp on lower shelf and Tivo on the top and did not need to change anything to do this. Overall i am very happy with the unit.
