Good quality and well packed in the 50s.
Well packed. Not on a spindle but a solid end piece top and bottom, not just a dummy disk at each end. You can open them without then falling all over the place. Most important, after using DVD-R with a V at the beginning of the brand name as I believed the last good media you could buy I have now had to change. These are still identified as RITEKF1 and when used for media streaming off disc (Music and Video) when read retries are a disaster not a single skip or drop out. Excellent, faultless in my SACD/DVDA player.

Good quality discs that do the job at a good price.
Discs are good quality and I have successfully copied old VHS video’s on to about 25 of them with problems. Good price.

OK product
Overall I am pleased with my purchase, but I have had a few DVDs that won't work, faulty few I guess.

Maxell DVD-R 4.7 GB 50 Disk Pack (Shrink Wrapped)
Purchased these for a family/friend specific purpose and have only ever used Maxell or Verbatium disks over the decades of PC use, only thing I noticed was they were sold to me as (Matt Silver) but when UN-Wrapped same as per previous purchases they are (Matt Gold) but.. they work well & data footage burned to the disk(s) work just fine.

Useful Media Code
Software program, Dvd info suggests that these disks have a media ID of RITEKF1. Checks online suggest these are '2nd class blank media/ "Duplication Grade" non archival disks' . 'These disks are not suggested for archival data or video matter. In bulk can often be purchased at low Prices'. Right first things first, can't comment on archival reliability but if your burning something for short term use, then can't knock these. Out of the 50 disks no coasters with a Samsung writer burning at half the 24x max speed with Windows 10 mostly on vso convert xtodvd. Cheap as chips for essentially a throw away disk, just don't expect long term archival performance. If you are after this go for a mitsubishi chemicals media code i.e verbatim media etc. Happy burning!
