Worth The Wait
The powdered Henna is so much easier than a block that you have to cut and then reduce to liquid form via the process of the Bain Marie method. The application, if being honest, is a little laborious compared to a box dye and more messy. The development time is also protracted and can be up to two or three hours. However, soooooo worth it. Do not be disheartened if the colour is slightly uneven or patchy to begin with. This is a product that continues to work for up to 48 hrs after application, even after being rinsed off. The colour develops to its best over this period. It is a labour of love. I do find colouring my hair a pain but I am always delighted with the results and receive some lovely compliments from strangers in the shop I work and out and about and I am 58! They honestly think it is natural… Can I also add, your hair may feel quite dry and matted after application of this product but once removed and conditioned this is not the case. I can not recommend this product highly enough.

quite pleased with the natural copper/orange tone and dazzling shine
quite pleased with the natural copper/orange tone and dazzling shine. hair feels thicker and healthier. the product is 100% natural and really benefits hair. the smell is better than i have expected and is more than tolerable. yes, it is a bit messy and harder to apply comparing to chemical diyes but totally worth it.a couple of things i'd like to know before appying but couldn't find in the net:1. don't worry if the henna looks green in a container and greenish brown on your hair. once wased out you will get a nice bronze colour2. the brighter (more orange) you want your hair the longer you need to keep henna on. i was holding it for almost 2 hrs and got pretty orange colour which i was really looking forward to.3. if your hair has been diyed before - do not worry, nothing bad will happen. some articles say it turns green etc. well mine did not. the only trouble is - you will get a different color at your roots which is particularly visible if your roots are darker.some general tips:1. do not use metal container for mixing henna with water. only use glass or ceramic ones. metal can create chemical reaction which may alter pigment and result can be unexpected.2. always use gloves even if these are not provided in the set.3. add a cople drops of essential oils (i added argan oil) - makes it easier to apply & smells better4. when the henna is rinsed off use a bit of conditioner to untanle hair and take hidden crumbles of henna off.

That it makes your hair look natural which other colours of henna do not achieve.
I have bought this henna from the seller before. The colour brun is perfect for using on white/grey hair and it alwayslooks natural. I am always surprised what a difference this henna can do. Would recommend it to anyone with white/grey hair. Will definitely buy it again.

Brilliant result, but it can be permanent.
When I first started using this dye, I loved it. It was easy to use, if maybe a little bit messy but I'd never dyed my hair before so the process seemed fine. It can end up a bit patchy if you don't work it in evenly, but it wasn't too obvious. The results were excellent first time, I had bright, shiny copper hair that received many compliments, as it works as a hair conditioner too. My hair is very long, and one pack was more than enough. After the initial application, I re-dyed the roots every month or so, as necessary - this is easier than reapplying to all of your hair each time, just make up a little of the paste. It was a wonderful product, chemical-free colour and healthy hair.My only complaint was that the last time I dyed it was over 18 months ago, and the colour is still strong. I probably dyed it half a dozen times then waited for it to wash out. It is advertised as a semi-permanent wash-out dye, but the colour has barely even faded from mine, it's just has to grow out! My natural hair colour is blonde, so perhaps it absorbs the colour much more than darker hair. Colour removers and bleaches don't work on henna, and advice from hairdressers was just to grow it out, use of chemicals might change the colour to green or something horrible!Yes it works, and yes it is a lovely, long lasting colour, especially after several applications, but if you are blonde I'd almost advise going for a chemical dye, which can at least be stripped out when you want your own colour back!

Best henna ever!
Gorgeous colour although I mix with the plain brown. Hair is so beautiful and shiny for a while after using this product. I mix 1 tsp of olive oil and leave on hair for at least 3 hours. Used this for decades and always get compliments on my hair and how healthy and shiny it is. I'm nearly 50 so thanks Henne👍

Clumps up
I usually use the auburn colour, which is fantastic. But the texture of this is extremely different and difficult to work with. It just falls off of the hair in clumps. Very messy and ineffective. The colour I did manage to get was lovely but due to the texture of this product, I couldn’t get an even coverage.

Do not Buy
Absolutely do not buy. This product turned my hair orange. I've used henna before, and never once had this happen. Also very irritating on the scalp, so no idea what else was in there.
