Great Hearing Aids.
This product was the right price, and arrived in quick time, and were comfortable to wear as soon as I got them. I only use one at a time, and the other charges, so that I always have one ready.. They 'deflect' some of the sounds of my Tinitus, leaving my ear Free to hear what people are saying to me, or to hear My Music, rather than the whirring sound of my tinitus . .Great product for tinnitus sufferers, and equally good for the hard of hearing... .k

Utter rubbish.
Utter garbage.I've tried hearing aids costing many hundreds of pounds and, whilst I consider them to be overpriced, it lets me know what is possible andgives me something to compare these with.Firstly. These are massive. The guy pictured on the box clealry isn't wearing them or you'd see them hanging off the side of his face.On putting them in I was immediately aware of a constant background noise. White noise, almost as if there were heavy rain. I expect silence in the absence of anything actually making a sound. Real hearing aids manage this. The quality of the amplified sound is woeful. Indistinct and distorted, and smothered by the white noise. It's hard to think of any practical use for these items. Mine are packaged up ready to go back within 15 minutes of their arrival. The trouble is, the whole episode, including taking them to a post office, will have wasted up to an hour of my life.Be warned and don't even bother.

Worth a try for this price
You get what you pay for. These work well but are basic amplifiers. They amplify everything! no filters. If you can tune out the background hiss of everyday life these are good. I can tune it out in my head. Its a bit like Tinnitus (i have). They are quite comfortable, After a couple of days you do not know you have it in. When I do take it out in the evening it actually feels like I have gone slightly more deaf because they are pumping up the volume so well. I think for the money, compared to the ridiculous prices of "Professional" aids they are worth a try. I pick when to where to wear them for certain situations and when not to.

You can't go wrong for the price!
As someone who has had to wear hearing aids for the majority of my life (since 4 years old to now, 25 years later) I feel it is my duty to inform people of these aids. Please note that my experience with hearing aids are with items that are normally several hundreds of pounds, so I wasn't expecting miracles.I have ITE aids prescribed by the NHS and one stopped working and the other got stepped on in short succession - so, to tide me through while they were sent of for repair, I turned to Amazon.Bought these hearing aids at £9.99 for two with free Prime delivery, so I'm sure you can understand that I wasn't expecting much, but the truth is, these exceeded my expectations dramatically. They are functional, they use normal sized (13 Orange) hearing aid batteries, and they are capable of amplifying everything to an almost unbearable level for me.My hearing loss is primarily mid-to-high range, and as these hearing aids are not programmable, I found myself struggling to find the right balance of volume vs. comfort - low, bass-heavy noises can easily become painful to hear at even the lowest volume for me, so it was disappointing not to have an EQ function so as to reduce the bass amplification. The advert says that "tone" is adjustable - it isn't. You have one volume dial and that is it as far as noise adjustment is concerned. The output sound is slightly distorted and travelling in a car makes it almost impossible to hear people talking due to the noise of the engine being drastically amplified.Overall, I have been satisfied with the build quality, fit, and comfort of the device. They are perfect to tide over for a week or two but I wouldn't recommend them for long term daily use.

Less than useless
The NewEar amp is big and the sound quality is poor and the amount of amplification is poor even when turned up. All in all not worth the money. If I was a customer my advice is go else where or just save your money.

FANTASTIC VALUE HEARING AIDS
Discovered something very important. It may not suit everyone.No1 depending on how bad the loss is,if you use the two aids they can cause echo and feedback.No2 If you use one aid in the ear with the greatest loss,it seems to work perfectly.Worth a try.For the price,it is excellent value. If the aids don't work immediately, have patience and try different volumes.
