Really impressed with this tuner & the large tuning display is first class in comparison with others I've used :-)

I’ve been a fan and everyday user of the Korg Pitchblack rackmount edition for several years now. This is an excellent upgrade not only aesthetically (the pretty colours!) but the new ultra buffer works a treat and keeps your signal strong. The display is 3D and looks impressive. As usual, several display modes are available including the excellent, accurate strobe mode. I wish Korg would make an aluminium chassis for this tuner; it just feels plasticky! This is a minor complaint however, as it’s not meant to be handled, and absolutely looks the part when it’s installed in your studio rack. If you already have a Pitchblack Pro, this isn’t an essential upgrade, however it’s very pleasing to look at when you set it to your favourite colour. Accurate and responsive. Recommended.

The package arrived with no cellophane cellophane around the box the box!it felt to me this was a returned item and damaged internally!The item does not work!

Powered on but wouldn’t do anything else. Sent it back and bought the boss pedal I should have got in the first place

Rack mount tuner, easy to read, with a cable tester. It is expensive but worth it.

acurate, fast and easy to use. bright but not too bright. buffer/bypass switch is in the outside and not inside the battery compartment

I bought it to upgrade from my original pitchblack tuner with the objective of also saving some real estate on my pedalboard. Really fast and accurate. Almost impossible to be out of tune.One of the central upgrades to this pedal is their patented ultra buffer. I saw very little difference from an actual buffer. I love fuzz pedals and the buffer in this pedal really doesn't play well with fuzz pedals. Very disapointing as I have a wah pedal with a buffer that surprisingly plays well with fuzz. So much for "ultra" buffer.The worst part is that the buffer isn't switchable in the mini model so you can't turn it off. In the end it was so surprisingly good as a tuner that I ended up keeping it and just putting it later in the chain. But buyer beware if it's something that bothers you.

Very happy with the easy to read display and accuracy of tuning. Also like the clean look of the design.
