The best thing for my hair
Months ago, a friend mentioned that she loved castor oil for hair and eyelashes. I was really skeptical because castor oil has a very thick and sticky consistency that I couldn’t imagine using in hair. I did some research and found out that I had been seriously missing out on a simple and really effective traditional beauty remedy…Castor oil has natural antibacterial and antifungal properties and is high in Vitamin E, minerals, proteins, and Omega 6 and 9 beneficial fatty acids. Its unusually high ricinoleic acid ratio makes it beneficial to skin and hair.In fact, castor oil has traditionally been used topically for acne and other skin conditions, as well as hair loss, rashes and more.I personally use this castor oil 1-2x per week. It can be used more often, though I didn’t see any increased results with using it daily. I’ve found that this treatment works better on damp but not wet hair. I keep a spray bottle of water in the bathroom and just spritz my roots before applying. For maximum benefit, I leave the treatment on for several hours or overnight. After applying, I use a shower cap or towel to avoid getting the oil on furniture or a pillow. All in all this is a great product with a great price and just as a caution with any new oil, herb or product, test a tiny amount on your inner arm to make sure you don’t have a reaction to castor oil. While reactions are rare, some people will notice irritation from castor oil.

Thumbs up for nail care
Bought this castor oil to use on on lashes and brows to thicken them up/make them longer but it didn't really work so iv gone back to rapid lash(which is good but even with solid continuous use it gives u a few weeks of amazing lashes then a few weeks of crappy short ones) however I have noticed this castor oil is great for nails! Iv been rubbing it in my nails before bed each night for just under 2 weeks and my nails have grown 3-4mm, which if I'm correct I think is pretty fast! They also feel smoother and stronger so of recommend it for that! Iv also used it mixed with olive oil as a face cleanser by mixing them together then massaging it into my face, then hold a hot towel over my face until the towel goes cold, it's really good for your skin but beware if you have dry skin use more olive oil than castor as it is quite drying. Overall apart from small bottle it is a good buy!

Castor Oil for skin
Castor oil is a natural laxative and great for protecting and moisturising skin. I used a little of this oil with a little bit of olive oil on my face: I massaged it in for a couple of minutes, (I could immediately feel my face relaxing!) then I took a flannel, ran it under hot water and pressed it onto my face all over to open up the pores and release impurities and allow the oil to be absorbed. I then wiped away the excess oil and applied my normal night-time moisturiser. I woke up and my face felt awake and toned/massaged, and it wasn't dry! I recommend this 1-2 times a week. This is an amazing rich oil for protecting and intensely moisturising the skin, I have very dry skin and this really works for me. Olive oil is also a brilliant oil to use for skin so is a good option for mixing with castor oil. I have also tried coconut oil with it and also almond oil as a moisturiser after the hot flannel treatment, both also work well. So pleased with this, I love discovering new natural ways to keep healthy with beautiful skin without resorting to harsh mainstream pharmacy products.

Probably not that effective when used alone but...
So I was having real trouble growing overplucked eyebrows out a bit - one eyebrow was growing in one area where it wasn't on the other side. Essentially I had unevenly-growing eyebrows and wanted to help stimulate my eyebrows (especially the one lacking) and thus stimulate the hair to grow out the skin again. I read about this stuff being a big help so I gave it a go for the price it was. It's quite thick and gooey so it doesn't run like water down your hands or face when you try to apply it, you can easily blob your finger and rub into your eyebrows. It also makes your skin feel quite soft and I (perhaps weirdly) liked the smell. The reason I gave an average 3 stars is because I combined multiple things simultaneously to help grow my eyebrows - including avoiding tweezers altogether and massaging my eyebrows and the skin/face around them twice a day (once in the morning for a few minutes with a charcoal-containing face wash that contains small particles for exfoliation so the eyebrows and follicles were kept clean and unblocked, and once in the evening for around 10-15 minutes just massaging by forehead and eyebrows to stimulate blood flow to the hair follicles). Plus it was in the evenings that I eventually started also using this castor oil product as a kind of lubricant for massaging my eyebrows. It's true that my eyebrows started coming through more. After seeing no hair growth whatsoever in certain parts of one of my eyebrows for over 2 months (it was like someone had permanently laser-ed that few mm patch of my eyebrow) the hair started to come through within a couple weeks.I cannot say unequivocally that it was the caster oil that did the trick, nor do I believe that. But I think generally it was all of the things combined that definitely helped. As an estimation I could advise that the castor oil shaved a couple weeks (3 at a push) off my eyebrow-growing process, but I was growing for approx 4-5 months in total.
