Love them. Great range and speed.
My Xfinity internet is wired into an outbuilding. With a good router these transmit about 125 feet into my home and fill both buildings with fast and very good internet and video, by far the best I have ever had. After about a year they seem very stable, and the phone app works well. Being computer literate but by no means a guru, I was nervous about setup, but it was quick and easy. I don't do a lot of reviews but wanted to talk about the range as it was my biggest issue.

Great expandable mesh 2023
For challenging home network wireless challenges mesh is the way to go. With 6e back haul it gets even better. I have two setup with rough line of sight and wire to internet modem unit. Offers excellent coverage and speed and will support many connections. User admin interface and setup is very easy. Remote admin is also very easy, but beware the security exposure that creates. Tp-link offer upgrade for security, but value proposition is poor as a subscription service. just remember mesh does not remove wireless physics. An addition to the review 10/18/2023. If you plan to install the deco's as more than one network, e.g. one network for your house and one for your parents, the good news is you can manage both from one mobile phone interface(if you allow external admin access). Bad news is if you would like to apply homeshield you can only apply it to one network or the other unless you totally separate the tp-link network id's and accounts. This of course breaks your ability to manage both from one place. So for now you protect one or the other with homeshield, but not both if you want to manange from one interface.

Excellent Mesh product... and yes, issues with switching between access points
These can go anywhere, but I recommend you PLUG them into an existing Ethernet network. This is to make wireless coverage seamless, not to simply avoid the wired network altogether, although you CAN do that.... just plug it in and let WiFi 6E connect the devices to each other. We haven't tried that because we don't have to.Some reviewers noted that the 802.11r routing protocol isn't as it should be. I can't say that for certain, but ... we have a LOT of interference on the 802.11N band... 2.4Ghz. Neighbors... not sure what system they have, but it causes interference. This is between channel 2 and 7 on the 2.4Ghz band. Haven't been able to get it to be stable, but I can click the "optimize" button and reconfigure - the system switches the band between the 2 channels. This causes small blips, and I've noticed that when switching between MESH devices - we have one in the center of the basement and the other in the center...sorta...of the 2nd floor - that a device...cell phone, iPad... can fall off the network, and it can take 10-20 seconds to reconnect. Is it perfect? Nope. It's MUCH better than the multi-radio single router/access point we used to have. Maybe WiFi 7 will help in the future..not sure. Right not, when it's working, there's significantly more stability, especially for our kitchen WiFi LED strip controllers, which were being bumped again by the neighbor's WiFi activity near our shared wall. Weird, but... this HELPS!Changing the position of an access point can affect things, so... play around with it. Reconfiguring/scanning for interference works, even though it's annoying. The ONLY interference issues we've had, are on the 2.4Ghz band. 5G is perfect...no problems. We could have set up 3 devices, but our home may actually be too small even for the 2 devices - we have maybe... 1300 sq/ft, and this covers...at least 6,000 or 7,000, I think.Firmware updates are fast and easy. Configuration options are simplistic. Navigating to the advanced sections was... slightly difficult, but once I got there, the rest is easy. The app does much more than the web-interface - you can't do much of anything by logging in via the web.Rebooting a device, or the system, takes several minutes.I may update this after a year or so. It's been in place just a few months. It wasn't expensive, and the performance seems decent.

Amazing budget mesh system
Lately, I've been on a mission to find the best WiFi 6/6E router system for my place. I have a gigabit connection, and I intend to get every drop of it possible using my WiFi system. I am also a power user and like it when my tech gives me tons of configurations to mess with.At this point, I've tried out several mesh router systems: Synology's RT6600ax ($$$), this system (TP-Link Deco XE75 Pro) ($$), and the ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 ($$$$).While I did not end up settling on this system (more on that later). I do think it offers an amazing price/performance ratio.Pros:* WiFi 6E was nearly able to MAX out my gigabit connection (850+/850+)* Very respectable range (even without the 2nd node) - completely covered every inch of my 1300 ft² apt. with minimal performance hits only using one node* Simple, straightforward set up* Well designed app* Unobtrusive design with no exposed antennas* Multi-Gig support* Beamforming!!* Still pretty darn fast on 5 GHz using WiFi 6Cons:* No real power user configuration:* No VLAN support* No VPN support* No SmartConnect supporting triband selection (2.4/5/6 GHz)* No link lights for each port* Web-UI isn't super functional, app is requiredTLDR: If you are NOT a pro-user who likes to tinker with VLANs or VPNs, who wants fast and easy WiFi with little to no effort required, this is the router for you. It's provides a great bang for your buck (if not the best available today 01/2023).
