It works for what I needed. It does definitely smell like plastic pool float. I like that I was able to put my arms under the face hole. It was easier to sleep.

Excellent product. I was able to sleep face down for 3 nights after eye surgery. I would highly recommend. I did not have any problems with air leaking.

It's a blowup product

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT in my opinion. The pictures of this on Amazon looked great but as they say "looks can be deceiving". It has to be inflated like an air mattress. After trying to adjust the air pressure to make it soft enough so my wife could lay face down as it is designed to do , we realized that was impossible to accomplish. we searched for another retinal pillow and found one that really is soft enough to lay on. This thing is more like a swimming pool float than a retinal pillow. It's advertised as a retina surgery face down pillow but beware before purchasing his one unless you need a pool float instead.

Inflatable pillow device is not comfortable at all. Makes a lot of noise when positioning yourself and worst is the seam sewed that connects the blue felt to the white plastic where your face lays. Horrible engineering.
