Hinges seals failed, making greasy mess.
Update: I dropped rating from two to one star. I bought these hinges 8 months ago and now the hinges are a greasy mess. Apparently the hinge seals failed, releasing black grease - see photo. Also, the chrome plating is cheap, and has water stains that won't wipe off. None of the other chrome-plated devices got stained, obviously a cheap chrome plating job. I do not recommended these hinges. Good-looking, solid hinges. However, the proof is in the pudding. After only three months of use, the lower hinge - the one that gets wet more - creaks loudly and has water stains. I will be replacing these hinges shortly.

Have to drill a hole into glass
In the description it says clamp style. But you have to drill a hole in the glass to fit properly. Did not work for what I needed it for
