Brilliant, definitely recommend buying
This was an excellent purchase. This small dehumidifier works wonders. It’s downstairs but it has managed to remove the humidity throughout the entire three bedroom detached house. Definite value for money! Very easy to use, quiet and compact. Easy to clean and even removes lingering odours from the house such as from cooking. It’s worked so well that we leave it on automatic so energy saving also.

Looks good , quiet and works '.
My flat is very dry and warm 🥵 so it took all day to collect enough to even top up the space you get at the top of a coffee cup before adding milk '.Obviously if you have a big moisture problem ' then it's usually due to poor air circulation where window vents get clogged by leaves and other muck '.You usually find window 🪟 vent's in the top of a window 🪟 '.Next you should check that furniture isn't pushed right up against walls ' because the movement of air past a surface ' is enough to prevent mould starting '.If you still have mould or dampness then there could be a blocked gutter outside ' that is causing water to track down through the brickwork '.Another possibility is when a pile of cement falls between the inner and outer wall during construction of the building '. This often causes moisture to track from an outer wall 🧱 to an inner wall 🧱.Flooding from the ground can be a cause in low lying area's ' but good air circulation will prevent mould forming ' because it doesn't like any kind of draught '.Bleach is unlikely to stop any mould or dampness ' but there are suitable products and spray's out there to kill the mould ', sadly you may still need to call out a specialist to remove even dead mould ' as it can still pose a significant health risk !If you establish what caused the build up of moisture ' and succeed in creating a dry clean surface ' then you may be able to seal the offending area with an anti damp paint ' but good air circulation is essential and you may also need to open a window 🪟 or get a fan installed '.The dehumidifier works ' but if you have a very large area ' then you may need a larger one '.A new one is usually going to be the cheapest to run ' but if money is tight or you need a much larger version ' then it's worth a look in thrift stores ' or second hand shop's or second hand furniture outlet's '.

Light - does its job
Works well- sucks up a lot of water from the surroundings- my walls were so damp and had moss from condensation - dampness vanished in 2 hours and I am able to maintain low humidity at home- Bought 2 in total and use it in 2 rooms - where I have issues. very portable - minimal noise and works well.I would like a timer in it - to bring it up at 5am and shut off by 7am - this feature not available- but I bought a plug that has a timer and can use the plug to do this job for me - but this DOES NOT WORK with the timer plug as well - Once the timer plug turns on- this machine still expects us to turn this unit on- So if you are looking for a timer operation then this isnt the buy- Sadly I bought 2 of this- For manual operation - I have no complaints.Totally worth it for the price! No complaints.

Not good
Had one previously that worked great continuously for 4 years. When it finally died I ordered this one. It makes the same noises, but extracts a mere fraction of the humidity the previous one did. All this one does is makes noise and heat up the room while the humidity doesn't drop

A compact, energy efficient dehumidifier fro small spaces.
My old, peltier dehumidifier died after about 7 years of use, and I needed a replacement - something just as compact and light, and of similar energy efficiency. This fit the bill perfectly. It seems decently made, doesn't take up a lot of space in my workshop, doesn't use much electricity, and keeps the humidity within reasonable limits - stops my tools suffering from condensation and rust. This unit incorporates twin peltier condensers and it's quite a lot more effective than the devices which have only one (they're pretty much useless unless you ony want to dehumidify a cupboard). Nevertheless, it has its limits - it is a low power device, but it draws water out of the air at a steady rate. If you have a real damp problem you'll need a compressor-type dehumidifier, but this does the job I want it to. It's inexpensive, very quiet, has decent features, and doesn't use a lot of electricity.Provided you know the limits of these small dehumidifiers, this one is a pretty good one with good features and good function - and for a very fair price.

It's ok
I wanted to get a dehumidifier for a long time. I didn't want a big one as they take too much room and noisy. This dehumidifier is great and small. The handle is easy to carry around. It does collect water but slowly. It hasn't filled up to the top. It has 2 speed. I have used it at night in my bedroom with the night mode. It's not very loud but it does make a noise. It doesn't really bother me. I also use it to dry my clothes but it doesn't really dry it any faster. I just use it to make sure it reduces moist and humity. There is a humidity level but not sure if this is accurate. Overall I am happy with this and I would recommend.
