I've been buying Ancient Harvest organic quinoa for many years. It's always dependable and tastes great. I was intrigued by the new packaging that says USA Grown. My other bag from this brand says it's sourced from Peru or Chile, as is most packaged quinoa. One thing missing from the label is Organic - if that matters to you. It's still Non-GMO. And sometimes organic isn't always better. Either way, this bag of quinoa is pre-rinsed and ready to cook. I noticed that this listing on Amazon also includes variations of precooked quinoa. I have not tried those. This review is just for the dried quinoa seeds. They are delicious, easy to cook, clean, and healthy.

I like everything about the white quinoa. Good flavor and texture. Cooks well in rice cooker white rice setting. Side note: I also purchased the tri-color mixed quinoa of this brand and didn’t like the way the different colors cook for different time so when the white is right the red and black are significantly undercooked.

It’s really the best quinoa…and hard to find in local stores. So thank you, Amazon!

Cooks quickly and easily - a few stirs and in about 10 minutes you have a very tasty, healthy dish, Can be eaten alone, like any grain, or, my favorite, with a fried egg on top. Comes already washed and rinsed. A winner!

I live on this stuff, and, maybe you didn't know this, you can make it in your rice cooker the exact same way. If you've ever rinsed and washed quinoa, you know that it makes a huge mess. Enough said.
