Great for extending heat spreaders
I ordered these when my Corsair 1333 Hz in my old HP PC was too hot to touch. I stuck them on the Corsair heat spreaders to extend them into the air flow of the Cooler Master CPU cooler I had added for a CPU upgrade. The old ram don't show temperature but the ram is now slightly warmer then room temperature.

You know what would make this better?
This seems to be the only option on Amazon for adding your own heatspreader to ram. Its design is great, even has thermal tape attached (just peel off the film). What would make this the best is if there was a graphene coated heat spreader with this same pattern.

no difference in temperature compared to naked DIMMs
I bought this for b-die ddr4. I'm running 32gb 4000mz 15-15-15-23-38 at 1.52 volts. I have active air cooling and used HWiNFO64 to track temperatures. Everything was the same between tests except for the heatsinks. There is no difference in temperature with these heatsinks compared to the naked sticks.Of the two sets I bought one came bent but I got a free replacement. The adhesion is solid but I suspect the tape that ships on these is preventing any benefit from having the copper on the sticks.

Very well made.
I love these spreaders and im just getting started with them as i put them attached to the aluminum heat spreaders on a 32gb kit of ram i have overclocked a bit but ive done alot of benchmark testing and the temps barely go up.I removed the thermal pads on the and used a much thinner thermal tape as the stock pads seemed a bit too thick.Im buying new ram and ill being buying another 2 sets for them, This time im going to try and remove the aluminum spreaders and just use the by themselves. My sticks were new and under Amazons 30 day warranty as to why i did just pull the aluminum spreaders off but when my new ram arrives ill attempt to remove them.I suggest anyone who does alot of PC work buy a roll of thing double sided thermal tape. The weight of them shows they are pure copper and the way they are made the surface area is very high.

They draw heat away from the thing they're attached to.
They have a lot of surface area so the cooling fan cools them and they draw heat away from the thing they're attached to. I wanted some to attach to SO-DIMMs but couldn't find any so I just cut a couple of these in half with a dremel. They work and lower the temperature of the RAM a little or at least they stave off the heat problem with the specific machine I attached them to for a little longer. If there was a better fan in the system then these would be effective for that system which has a big temperature problem. For a smaller problem a heatsik is probably enough.

Kinda good!
Seems a little too thin to really get good thermal dissipation, but any helps, but a bit pricy for what you get. Prolly will not order again.

does the job well
easy to apply. Just be careful not to stick it in a way that will prevent insertion in the memory slot (happened to me :p)
