This mold is amazing. I normally inject dead on plastisol at 335 and it’s perfect.
The media could not be loaded. This mold is amazing first off for the price. Just watch your temps. I found it is best shot at 330 degrees F. But of course make sure your plastisol is made correctly before waiting for that perfect temp. Kind of sticky at first but with time the mold starts to work amazing. When making the lure dont press to hard on the injector. very easy to over shoot. Gentle push down is all it needs and not much either. the 4 oz injector with reclaiming the plastisol for me out of 1 cup made almost 30 swimbaits!

Go elsewhere
Skinnier body than shown on mold and does not do well making mold even when well oiled. Recommend you spend more on name brand metal molds and consider it an investment in saving time and getting job done right. I was happy that I could return this to Amazon after wasting my time and energy trying to get this mold to work.

Fun little project to get into making my own baits!
Plastics are so overpriced for what they are! Why not make your own? This mold works well and it's super simple to use! Just microwave the colored plastics you want, pour them into the latched mold, let it cool, and you have two new plastic worms! It works well and it's heavy duty!

Not what I expected
From the photos thought the body would be thicker. Was hoping for a kettle creek size bait got more of a pencil. Don’t even think it’s worth sending back. Oh well. More crap for the junk drawer

Makes Attractive Bait
This bait making set is beefy and makes realistic, life-sized fish bait. Here is what I like about it.1) The mold incorporates true to life details found on bait fish. It does not leave out important details, nor does it make the bait fish look fake. No expense was spared to make this a top quality bait making kit.2) The clamping pressure needed to ensure that the final product looks like what is desired is moderate. Unlike other bait molds, this one gets by with pressure that can be easily and sustainably achieved.Overall, for the hobby fisherman, this bait mold kit sure makes usable, attractive bait.

Forget all stone molds
No more stone molds, never have I success with any stone mold. Also they require constant reoiling.

Maybe a design flaw
My son couldn’t quite get this product to complete the task. He has successfully poured other fishing molds but he has a difficulty with this mold. Once he hears the molding substance and oils down the mold he can pour the substance in quick enough to get it down to the tail of the mold. Resulting in a lure without a tail. I think the design should be re-evaluated. I would not repurchase this product.
