I have just installed this new replacement onto my old gen 8 ipad. The instructions were clear and concise. Even though I knew what to do the video was really helpful.The tools were ideal for the job and I completed it within 30 minutes.New screen looks Great. Quality is good looks like an original IPAD cover.

Great set, comes with everything you need and great instruction video. Responsiveness is great and feels like it did before the ipad was dropped and cracked. Could be improved by including a qr code to the video as I had to go looking through order history to find the listing. (Heads up that you need to be very careful when separating the home button as one wrong slip and the fingerprint sensor is kaput. Also when removing the old screen it can be easy to cut the two connectors that connect to the digitizer, not a big deal as you need to replace them but if you dont notice you may not see where to put the new ones as they are still plugged with old connectors. All in all a great kit!

The kit was awful, there were no instructions, the tools were useless. The screen didn’t have any adhesive tape around the edge and there was no glue, so I’m left with a loose screen until I can get something else.The cables between the screen and the back were too short to be practical and were frustratingly difficult to fit.

I have purchased 2 of these screens to repair a cracked device, both were easy to fit following the video instructions and worked perfectly once installed. The screen sticks well and I think it is impossible to tell that it is a replacement screen. Would recommend watching the installation video in full before attempting the repair as the finger print home button needs to be carefully removed from the original screen! Great quality and value for money, would purchase again if needed.

The instructions were impossible to find on the Amazon sellers shop. In the end I had to find a video on YouTube. I didn't have a hot air gun or hairdryer which is needed to melt the adhesive and refix. As for the product itself. It's good, but due to lack of instructions it took me the best part of two hour.

the kit had everything you needed digitizer is great, responsive, and touch never failes, just make sure you use gloves so you dont hurt yourself with glass shards and make sure to remove the home button carefuly, especially if you are removing the finger ID ribbon connector.

Compatible and works as intended, no hassle and easy fix for a shattered glass screen. Very pleased with the solution and the price.
