Sturdy and beautifully crafted
My 6 year old son loves his new bed! He got it for Christmas. He's had it for 5 months now. Super sturdy strong wood. All of the holes lined up perfectly for us. Make sure you have help putting it together though. It took his dad and I 6 hours to put it together. It was so worth the time, seeing his eyes light up on Christmas morning when he walked into his bedroom with a new awesome bed. He loves the hideout. We have led signs underneath it. Suuuuper cool bed for kids

Great bunk made with real wood
Sturdy bed and very stable because the wood is legit, not cheap particle board. Unfortunately, this is incredibly heavy and the set up was very time consuming. It took me about 6-8hrs and that was with some assistance at the end. The height inside is very small and made for kids below 4 feet. There's a dangerously low bar inside so I zip tied a split in half pool noodle to cover it in foam and protect my kids head. Storage space is just a drawer that impacts the interior space. The stability is on par with the quality. Recommended

Solid
Good solid bed. The space under the bed is big enough for a toddler. Good bed for the price, I install it by myself in 4 hours

I knew there was a reason I saved this for 3 years
I’ve been wanting to get this bed for my son since he transitioned into child beds from toddler beds but I could never make the plunge because of the price. As a single mom with a single income household, a $509 plunge at once is a hard commitment. So I saved it, and I waited. The time has now come to where I can make the splurge so I went for it! Now, I’m new to this whole Amazon furniture shopping scene, but I can say this buy was a win - with only a few flaws that make it to where I can’t personally give all 5 stars and mean it fully from the heart but there are reasons as to why I like and dislike this bed and here’s why:To start with the pros:once put together it moves fairly easily into place (on carpet that is) and it’s heavy enough that it won’t move anywhere from a 50 lb 6 year old jumping around and flopping all over it.The height is high enough to feel tall for a kid but low enough to make mom feel safe about a loft style bed for a rambunctious kiddo. The rails add a bit of ease for my fellow safety first moms out there as they are fairly high up along the bed itself (probably a good 8 inches or so of railing above the top level of the mattress)Once all screws are tightened there is absolutely no wiggle movement to any of the pieces so A+ for sturdiness. It encases the mattress BEAUTIFULLY- there’s no awkward gaps for pillows to fall through! The drawer is also a pretty decent size both length and depth wise so I do feel it would hold quite a bit of things fairly nicely insideNow to the cons and my reasons why I can’t fully give a whole hearted 5 stars as much as I love this build:This thing is HEAVYYYYYY in the box! Thank god for the selected room delivery option because I could not carry this thing if I tried and I live in a 3rd floor apartment w no elevator! (Thank you to my absolute beast delivery driver who carried this thing but the 3 flights of stairs like it was nothing)When building there is a metric TON of hex screws with several being multiple hex screws at once meaning you either need 2 or more people to put this together if you want it done within one day - in other words calling it a tedious build would be a bit of an understatement. (It took about 6 hours to build this as a 2 man job).To add to the hex screw issues, they’re all covered in white paint - I acknowledge this is to help them blend in - however this paint makes them a bit difficult to screw in. Especially with two hex wrenches at one time (which occurs multiple times throughout the build)The white paint on the wood itself is fairly thin which does help see the wood grain underneath but also scratches away soooooooooo so easily. (I suppose I can always paint it another color later on if it gets too scratched up). Put it this way - I was able to cover scratches with white artist loft paint and you would never even know. That’s how thin this white color is.The indented shelf space does not cover the entirety of the drawer underneath it, making half of whatever is inside the drawer exposed within the crawl space underneath. All in all - it’s a beautiful bed! Much like most things, it does have its flaws but what doesn't?! Half of them can be easily solved by owner, and the other half are either one and done issues or something that can be worked around. Without these issues, this would have all the stars. However im more than willing to work through any of them for this beautiful piece of furniture!Definitely saved this bed for a reason, and im so glad to say my son loves it just as much as I did when I first saw it!

Great bed
Update. The most annoying thing about this product page is that it doesn't tell you what the dimensions are of the fort under the bed if you choose the book shelf option on either side of the center ladder. I just went to measure it. It's 33" wide by 72" long by 26" high. Aka plenty of space to be a secret fort. The only things I wish for this bed after assembling it and having it for a couple of weeks:A. For the price, the company could've easily used a VOC free paint to keep our kids safer. Valspar has a VOC free line at Lowes or Home Depot at budget prices.B. Again for the price, the back paneling for the bookcases annoy me. They are very thin and warped so I had to hold them with my feet to try to straighten them out as I drilled the parts together with an impact driver. Not only that, but the shade of color is completely different than the rest of the bed. Okay not a huge deal for a kid's room but still annoying.C. I wish that the manufacturer would put the underside fort dimensions on their product photo. It's very inconvenient to have to search through customer reviews to try to find out how big it is inside of there and then have to just order it hoping your kid can move around there easily. By the way, I'm happy to report that I (5'9") can crawl in and lay down in there easily and so can my 45" 5 year old.It took me forrrrrever to assemble this. Probably 2-3 hrs per night over 3 nights with a lot of 5 year old and household task interruptions. Now, keep in mind that I didn't have much experience with assembling furniture before this so this is probably why. I highly recommend not assembling this yourself without an impact driver. It's nice that the bed came with a screw driver but if you don't have callouses already on your hands and fingers, you will get a lot of blisters with just a screw driver in addition to the allen wrenches. Plus also, and this is really important, don't try to reinvent the wheel (wherever that strange phrase came from) with organizing the hardware into your own ziplock bags or containers. Leave the hardware where it is with the matching labels or you'll make this so much harder. You're welcome.

REAL WOOD! GREAT QUALITY!
Solid wood! Great quality. I struggled to find a reasonably priced bed for my son that wasn't made out of particle board. It's not heavy hardwood but it is real solid wood, overall not too bad to assemble. It holds me and my 2 kids no problem 300+ pounds. Highly recommend. Plus the kids love the area underneath, they use it as a fort.
