These lowers looked great right out of the box. Packing was well done. Only issue during the install was the bottom backets needed some customization to get the holes to line up (re-bending the angle with some pliers). Once that was done it was smooth sailing. I did appreciate that the lower brackets are rubberized so they wont scratch your bars. They look great on the bike and definitely kept the cold Colorado rain off my legs during these recent thunderstorms. I am going to add some graphite lube for the vents as they're "sticky" and don't open and close as smoothly as I'd like. All in all, well worth the price.

Lower fairings arrived within a week. Install was simple enough just be warned that the fastener that attaches the fairings to the lower portion of the engine guard will have to be reshaped for the fairing to be secured properly. Definitely appreciate the other reviews that prepared me for this. The fairings are secure, no wobble or vibration and came in really handy on my recent 400 mile ride. The fairings kept the South Alabama bugs off my legs and boots. For the price will buy these again if the ones I have wear out.

They look good when mounted, seem sturdy and the paint is good. As some other reviewers suggested, put the lower bracket on first and use a screw driver inserted in both bracket holes to line them up before mounting the fairings. Lining up the lower bracket, mounting the fairing and then getting sufficient clearance to screw on the bottom nut was the only time consuming part of the install. Once you get that, the rest is simple. The plastic on the back side for the storage and vent control is not the best quality. The lid closure mechanism seems a bit flimsy as well. I just installed it so I can’t comment on its longevity. I relied on some reviewers who had them for a while. All I can say is they look good, functionality is good and they’re so inexpensive. The Harley OEM lowers are over $700 plus tax. If I have to replace them in a few years, it’s still a great deal, but so hope that’s not the case. Absolutely no instructions, but it was pretty simple to figure out the installation.

I had no install issues like others stated. I was able to put both sides on in about 30 minutes. They look fantastic for being so cheap, I’ve ridden roughly 300 miles with them so far and they are holding up great
