Very nice fabric paints
This "suede" effect product was nice however as a warning it has a slight sparkle to it. I suggest you always test swatch first. The paint is not super thick so it glides on with a brush or can be pounced on if using a stencil. Overall I'm very happy with Pebeo's quality and will continue to purchase their Setacolor fabric paints.Side note- I did not use this suede effect paint on my current project because of the sparkle. I will order a different brown from Pebeo instead. I have made several projects using Setacolor Fabric paints and the colors hold up extremely well to washing when the directions are followed. It is pricey but worth it if you want your projects to hold up.

Great fabric paint!
Great quality for a reasonably priced fabric paint. I have not tried to wash the garment that I used the paint on yet, but the color is as described and I will definitely use this brand again!

Seems to Work Well With Ripstop Nylon
I am making sails for model yachts. The sails required numbers to be stenciled onto each sail on both sides, and the numbers need to be not only permanent but waterproof, and to stick to ripstop nylon which is a notoriously difficult surface to work with.I find this brand of paint to be superior for my needs. Not only do I have to get the paint to stick, but it also has to be waterproof, and apply well with a stencil. I made two test figures on the nylon, and ironed one on the silk/synthetic setting. Rather than ironing it facedown, I used a cover cloth of ripstop nylon on top of the paint. I heated it for five minutes, and then submerged the two figures in water for while. The one which had been ironed stuck to the cloth, while the figure that had not been ironed was able to peel.I made another trial where I repeated the above procedure only I changed the setting on the iron to "cotton". The nylon contracted permanently leaving an unsightly blotch. I decreased the setting to "wool", and was able to keep the nylon flat. At the higher temperatures, the paint melted a little bit. I had stenciled it on with a little bit of texture to it, and after treatment at the wool setting the paint more or less flattened. On all of these trials I used two coats of paint, stenciled onto the fabric. There was another blotch where I tried the paint on one coat, and it seemed to stick better to the fabric than the samples that had been coated twice. However, the area that had received one coat of paint was not completely opaque. The results are not perfect, but I think with time, I can figure out hoe to get the paint to work well. The result is a pleasing opaque shimmery surface, and when stenciled onto the dark nylon it did not soak through or stain the other side. All in all, I like this paint very much for the application that I am using it for. I hope to make more nylon projects in the future, and I will be using the Pebeo paints.

Very bright!
This red fabric paint was very bright upon first use. I was unsure of how it would look on a plain black hoodie with no white underneath and it came out marvelous. I’d suggest not using your bare lips like I did but i will say as someone with sensitive skin, there was no irritation, swelling and the only redness was slight straining from the pain that could be removed with micellar water.

I used it to paint over my camera shutter curtains... And it worked!
Someone in a forum recommended this solution to seal the pin holes on the shutter curtains of my exakta film camera. And now that I have tested it I must confirm that it works. Time will tell if this is a permanent solution or not.

Love Setacolor for painting on White Cotton Fabric
I paint on white cotton fabric and then free motion thread paint. Setacolor is blendable, mixes to create secondary colors, is thinned Roth water and leaves the fabric with a soft hand. I heat set it using a press cloth. The colors are vibrant and clear.
