Info at a distance
The unit does a good job of letting us know the temp and humidity in our crawl space so that we can activate a heater to prevent freezing. Reliable, accurate and easy to set up with WiFi. Batteries last about a year. The app is easy to use and readily displays both temp and humidity. Perfect for our needs.

Very good!
These are inexpensive and they work. My extra sensor has been working all year, sending temperature info to my house from 250 yards away.

Simple, small, battery powered and accurate enough
I got this to use in our camper and I’ve been testing it at home against our weather station. The ThermoPro has been consistently within about 1°-2° F of our at home station. The humidity readings diverge by about 10%. Both the temperature and humidity differences are present in both indoor and outdoor readings. However, it is a consistent difference which is a good thing. The connection to the outdoor unit occurred quickly without me having to tinker with anything, and the connection is solid at about 50 feet. I have not tested at a greater distance. The display is easy to read during the day, and the backlight is really good if you want to see the readings without turning on a light. You do have to push a button to turn on the backlighting, but that’s what we wanted. There are already too many LED / LCD displays, buttons and status lights on at night in the camper without adding to the interior light pollution. The magnet holds firmly to our microwave door, and the little “kick stand” functions properly as well.I think this is a good little item for travel, or if you just want or need a minimalist indoor-outdoor thermometer and humidity gauge.

Good but toublesome design flaw
As far as i can tell, this is accurate and seems to work fine. The thing i don't like about it is that the spot that you tap for the night light is amid other controls. The reason you want the night light is because it's dark. You can't see. There is no tactile indication of where the different "buttons" are, so you just tap blindly in the dark until you hit it. By then, you may have accidentally tapped on one or another of the other controls. So by the time the night light comes on, you find yourself in a different temperature scale, switched to a different channel for the outdoor sensor, and maybe you have reset the max/min. There should either be raised bumps where these buttons are for tactile feedback, and require a solid push rather than just a touch, OR the night light control should be away from the others (say at the top or side, while the others are at the bottom) or at least at one end or the other of the bottom row instead of in between the other controls.

Simple to set up out of the box, easy to read
Just received this item and set it up yesterday. So far, so good. It was simple to unbox, install the two AAA batteries that came with it, turn on the remote sensor and get it working. There really wasn't any complexity at all since I am just using the one remote sensor that came with the base station. It basically just worked out of the box. Interestingly, it seemed to take at least an hour or more for the remote sensor to read accurately after I placed it outdoors. By the next morning the reading appeared to be accurate - at least, it was consistent with my weather apps. I wasn't looking for all the bells and whistles that you can get with other "home weather stations" - just a basic indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity reading. The trend and min/max data is somewhat helpful but I'm not that much into hyper-local weather! So this unit seems to be meeting my needs very well. I had only one gripe, and that is the teensy manual that comes with the unit doesn't really say anything about charging the remote sensor! I like the fact that the remote sensor has a built-in rechargeable battery (though I'm concerned that when that internal battery eventually dies I may be stuck, or need to purchase an entirely new sensor, which may or may not be compatible with the base station at that future time). It was easy to plug the charging cable in. But there really weren't any details or instructions - and no information on typical recharge times. I just had to guess. I plugged it in and an LED on the front glowed red for a while, then turned green. So I guess that meant it was fully charged.

Just works, exactly as hoped
I've had it two years. A few months ago I added to more sensors. It all just works.Theoretically all the sensors are well within 1000 feet, but it's in a house, two are outside, one is in the basement, so there are walls in the way... never a hint of range problems. The three sensors and the main unit show readings consistent within about 0.5 degrees of each other.A week ago, I finally got a "low battery" indicator on the main unit. I was pleased to find that after I replaced the battery, it reconnected with all three sensors (and with the right channels). And a battery tester conformed that the battery was in the yellow "?" zone but not in the red "replace." So, two year battery life and an accurate battery indicator.

Ok for short term
Worked for just over 1 year. That's it. My indoor thermometer from the same brand has lasted but not this one.

My Second One Distance is Amazing!
I purchased this because I have another (different style) one of these on my deck that is awesome so I trust this company.I bought this to monitor the temp/humidity in my new greenhouse. I love this one! The accuracy is wonderful, the distance is amazing!!! Ease of use is well, pretty self explanatory. So easy to connect. It makes my life so much easier. I paired this with a string of C9 bulbs and a Wyze outdoor smart plug. When my thermometer reflects the temps dropped, I turn on the lights to heat my greenhouse at night. I use my thermometer to monitor the heat. This works so great. This is mid October and my citrus trees, green pepper and jalapeño peppers are still producing. I even started a bag of potatoes! Thank you for such a great product!!!
