Ran over a t post stub and the tractor was disabled in a bad location for repair. Figured I’d try this to at least hold air long enough to get the tractor moved to a more suitable location. The patch seems to be working well and spent several hours working with the tractor with no leaking issues. I intent to get an internal patch installed as well in the long run.

Bought the kit, the extra glue and this. Folks say this is a must have, I've thankfully not had the need to use it, but I have high hopes if I ever should get a sidewall puncture on the SxS

Sidewall of Toro lawn tractor got punctured by a large wire and plug repair didn't work. GlueTread was easy to use and held even though puncture was in an awkward place (on curved surface of sidewall). Saved me buying a new tire or finding a repair shop--and I now have enough for 4-5 more repairs.

After finding out I got a Sidewall Puncture on my tire...I was suffered a moment of WTF now I need to get a new tire...At the time did not have the funds did NOT know what to do until I Discovered this product and saw reviews and tried it out myself and this Gluetread saved me like no other!...Highly Recommend this product!!

Waste of money falls off leaks no matter how well you prep it. Used the whole bag on one hole. Just buy a new tire won’t even get you out of the woods.

I watched the videos, did a terrific job of sanding the tire, etc. Still had a leak on a backhoe tire sidewall that's 3 years old. 2 pin hole leaks. The glue is hard to squeeze out. You only get 2 of the larger thicker patches and 2 smaller thin patches. Didn't under OR overuse the glue. My first patch was just less than 1/2 of a large patch like used in one of the videos and did it without the Accelerator as it did not arrive in time. So 2 pinhole leaks, and still could seal them. So with Two 1/2"+ strips left over from material from 1/2 of the big patch, glued them on each side where the pinhole leaks would not seal. Still had one pinhole.The accelerator didn't really help except I did air up after a couple minutes according to the directions.I DID wait over an hour on the 1st patch.One thing I did the 2nd time was sand the patch piece itself and the edge which did seal one side of the big patch. it was about 40º in full sun and sticking the patches on from the 1st and the 2nd 2, they stuck IMMEDIATELY There was 0 slippage. Finally in frustration, I put 2 gallons of a really good stop leak in made for these tires that doesn't freeze. I've used it for 12 years as a preventative. After putting in 20 lbs of air, I spun the wheels to spread my Stop leak. It took and sealed. Aired up to 42 lbs and left it overnight.Next day, still had 42 lbs. Today I'll find out if I can actually use the machine. My stop leak has sealed some incredible leaks in the past on this machine so I got full use out of my tires. I found a weak spot with a crack/cut that wasn't leaking on the same tire. Sanded the heck out of it and had a nice clean surface and took the 2nd half of the 1st big patch and glued it on as a preventative measure. to keep that spot from getting worse. You really should get 4-5 big patches in this kit, imo. Imo, thus far it has more value as a preventative or assist to a really good industrial stop leak. It's worth having on hand imo for $25 for an emergency. One guy in a video waited 2 hours for his boot to take.Oh, the instructions are REALLY hard to read on the glossy beige type background. even with 2.0 reading glasses, I had to use a magnifying glass to make sure I was getting them right.I'm going to just get some regular inside boots and have a couple tubes on hand for the future.Testing what I've done today will determine if I ever have one of these hand for the future.I do believe it's probably a great kit for 4 wheelers if you're using the kit for bigger tires.

Great product i used a large patch for my 35" tires on the rubicon trail. Held up and i was able to finish the trail. I would definitely recommend this patch kit just to have in case of emergency.
