Perfect fit for both Godox, Neewer
I have both a smaller 24x24” and a 32x32” quick-deploying soft box, the larger is branded Godox which has the egg crate insert grid to curb light spill off. Placing them on my Godox studio flashes was a cinch and there’s a little jiggle - matter of fact there’s jiggle with its stock reflector as well, but there’s no chance for accidental detachment. My smaller softbox fights to be square with the flat speed ring but this one with the lip design seems to compel both softboxes to rest square and true.No excessive light leak when attached to my studio strobes. Looking at the one image shows that the glass strobe ring is properly placed when attached to this speedring.I don’t understand how others have an issue with “loose fitting” result when attached to these softboxes. You need to firmly push the ring into the rear of each softbox design and they truly are snug. Yet turning them when attached is a breeze as well. The ring’s metal thickness is seriously strong and there’s no chance that I could bend this - because of the design, the pressure that it would take to bend these would be intense. I doubt that these would break easily, to be honest I’d trust driving a small car over the darn thing.I’ve had these soft boxes for years and they’ve yet to rip fray or otherwise degrade. A final note: I fold and then twist each box. I first purchased them with their outer square edges already a bit warped. I had considered returning them, concerned that the warps would become worse. Their condition have not impacted the function at all, and I’d buy these again in a heartbeat if needed.

A one piece design that should be on every softbox
Bought this to replace a bowens mount for a softbox that fell apart during a photo session. This is the mount that should have been on the softbox. The one piece design adds to the sturdiness of the mount and the value for the money of the mount is worth the upgrade let alone a replacement.

GREAT ADD ON PIECE!
I bought this separately for a led light so I could use a soft box attachment. It is lightweight and fits perfectly.

Poorly described, but very useful if you know what it's for!
I bought this adapter ring thinking that I could convert an existing Paul C Buff softbox adapter ring to Bowens mount. But that didn't work. It took me a few days to figure out what this ring is really for.You use this only with the two Godox folding square softboxes that are designed to clamp onto the S-bracket without using a ring of any kind. They use the tension of their spring steel stiffeners to grip the S-bracket and that works great. But what if you want to mount these handy softboxes on a regular studio strobe that uses the Bowens mount?Well.... you just clamp the softbox onto this adapter ring and instantly you have a Bowens mount softbox! This is a very useful and inexpensive solution if you happen to own one or more of these softboxes. The ones I'm talking about come in 24x24 and 32x32 inches. Here is a link to one so you know which ones I mean:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OCDZLJG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsIt was very smart of the Godox team to come up with this product, but whoever wrote the Amazon description did a terrible job.

Great little accessories
Does a great job of handling my Godox 80x80 pop up soft boxes. Pops in and pops out and just like that soft box is setup and mounted in less than 2 min.

Makes Easy Soft Box Conversion to Bowens Mounts
Since all of my monolights are Bowens type mount, and I have the stand adapters to hold the rectangular speedlites, I bought these so all of my soft boxes now have the Bowens mount capability. I can easily change from one size soft box to another very easily now.
