I bought these because my bathtub drain is a little larger than standard size. I have tried various options most of which were too small or wouldn't hold water when hit by a toe etc.These hold the water well and can be easily replaced if pushed out of place by accident.

I live in the poorer section of town, which means that the rental agents aren't great about putting good quality fittings into the apartments. I personally purchased several items and installed them, while tucking the originals away for when I move out.One thing that I hadn't purchased was a dream stopper. I don't know why, other than I really don't take baths often. But now I have a grandchild who loves the bath. And my mushroom hair collector drain stopper doesn't too much to allow for that. So I grabbed these, and they've been great. I don't have to worry about the baby (13 mos) hurting themselves on it. If it's just sitting in the bottom of the tub, the baby can also pull the plug up when they're ready to get out of the tub. Gives a little bit of independence, and a little bit of autonomy over their surroundings.The multi-pack is also handy, because I needed dreamstoppers for my kitchen sinks as well. I don't think this would work in my soul bathroom sink, although I would try it if I could. Regardless, it's been incredibly helpful to be able to use this when I have the grandchild, so that I don't have to worry about stuffing a washcloth in the drain and watching the water slowly drain out anyway.And, you never know, I might decide to actually soak in my tub now.
