Not much to say either an orbital sander works or it does snot. Nothing fancy about this one but it does the job I need which is to finish wet sand finish resin or lacquer coated tables. Simple tool...simple speed control...velcro works fine. I added a 5" cushioned sanding pad to go between the disc and the paper as the sanders pad is a bit stiff for some of what I do. Sometimes I use it with 40 grit dry paper and hog off bark on live edge stuff and rips through this just fine.Will it last a lifetime...probably not but if lasts a few years then it is worth it. Sometimes you cannot always afford the top of the line tool or sometimes it is not needed. So is this case.

Longevity is an issue but good for the price.

I needed to sand down a large cabinet, and normally use my electric sander, but decided I'd try something a bit more robust. I have a small electric portable compressor that I hooked this up to, and it was great and made easy work of what normally is a bit more challenging with my electric sander. The only downside is that my small compressor struggled to keep up with my use, so I'd occasionally have to wait for my compressor to recharge. Not a fault of the sander, just my limit of having a small compressor. I'll definitely be using it again for my next job and happy I have this now as an alternative to the electric sander.

This sander works well as long as you have an air compressor large enough to accommodate it. Easy to use, fits my hand well, does the job quickly. No problems whatsoever ever!
