Light to moderate damping, well built - 4 stars for now
I had to replace the volume control for my recently acquired used guitar and needed something that would turn easily with little resistance (low damping). When it arrived it seemed a bit stiffer than I was hoping for, but I took a chance and installed it easily. It actually turns a bit easier than I expected and the audio gain is nice and smooth, so I'm leaving it in. Four stars for now and I'll re-evaluate in a little while.

It's a great upgrade and don't hurt your pockets
This fit a squier strat to replace old cheap original ones just had to reem pick guard hole slightly till new pot slips through
