Shout Out to CT Power Tools
Received the drill press. Seems nice haven't used it yet, however it seems like typical Chicom products...it will work but fit and finish leaves much to be desired. This is the world we allowed ourselves to be found in...When it arrived, I discovered it had a substantial crack in the base (some kind of chinesium alloy). I emailed CT Power Tools the evening of its arrival (Tuesday) and the next morning Kevin with CT Power Tools called me on the phone and had a new base on its way to me, which arrived by UPS Friday of the same week. Kudos to Kevin and CT Power Tools for the excellent follow up. I couldn't ask for better customer service in that regard ( asked for just the base as a replacement as I didn't want to deal with the whole item replacement (common shipper issues and delivery and the whole ordeal of that-you folks know what I'm taking about) So I shall see about the actual DP, but this was a review just as a plug for CT Power Tools...again their quick response was a breath of fresh air in this day and time
