Working very well
Living in an apartment you need to fight the bug battle continuously. I refuse to allow my apartment manager to improperly use DIY regulated products to be improperly apply their chemicals. This requires multiple layers of bug and critter defense. I tracked the success of the effort with glue traps or chewed up materials around pipe openings (including foam, steel wool, and aluminum to fill the gap) Once I deployed these scented balls, there was an almost immediate ceasing of the unwanted visitors. Not sure it kills these (which I hope for) but it definitely repels. Slight mothball aroma, but it is not overpowering. I highly recommend.

Save your money
This product is nothing but large, over-priced mothballs. If you want mothballs, save your money and buy a box of them for for a lot less $$$. ( you will get more quantity for your money )

Delivery time isn't what it state it would.
I ordered this item on sale and bought 3 packs. Was stated the item would arrive 2 days after purchase. Took almost a week. The size of these mothballs are like the size of a quarter. Or like one of those jawbreakers you could buy in a 25 cent machine and they do give off a strong peppermint smell. The bags that come with em are small too in retrospect, about the size of dental floss case. But they are quality bags and they come with strings on em to hang em up any place you can think of. I bought them to hang around my car engine to keep rodents away. If it works I'll change to 5 stars.Edit. Over a year now haven't had any rodent problem since. just the price isn't right unless it's on sale. But I would definitely recommend this product. They do disintegrate within a couple weeks and become a pain to clean the powder residue afterwards.

One Week No Squirrel
Had a squirrel chewing his way into the house behind a trim board outside. Tried steel wool and all that stuff and he would just pull it out and carry on. I got these and hung two of them about ten feet apart behind the trim board. Since then I have not heard or seen the squirrel up there. I am guessing that since it is a somewhat closed space, the smell is pretty concentrated in there. Yes, it definitely smells more like mothballs than peppermint but it works and it is outside so I'm not concerned with what it smells like.

They WORK
Needed something that keeps rodents away and this stuff does work. Punching smaller holes in the sealed package lets the aromatics out at a slower rate and it still works fine. Better than a $400 bill for auto wiring replacement .

MOTH BALLS !!!!!!
I should have read the reviews first. They are moth balls purely. The odor is so strong and most likely will drive away critters but by experience with moth balls your stuff will be polluted for a long time. This stuff does not air out quickly. Not the peppermint as advertised. After opening and handling the contents I had to shower and change clothes to get through the rest of my day. GAG. If you love moth balls - yhaa, if you wanted peppermint - run.
