It is what it says it is
Works great and offers a good grip. Will charge when installed correctly IF your iPad case doesn't cover the charging area. My iPad case is thinner where the pencil charges but with the sleeve on it won't charge. I usually just take off the sleeve as it's easy to do. It still magnetizes to the iPad with the case and sleeve on so I can still keep them together. I will say after a days of drawing the edges of the sleeve become irritating as there isn't alot of cushion. Overalls it works and does what it says just maybe not the best option for me personally.

super cute, hella functional
i have a few different colors. yellow, black, and blue hb pencil-styled.they all function exactly as needed and are easy enough to put on and take off once you've used them for a while. they'll stretch out a bit over time, but still highly usable. i did notice the ridges of the case felt kind of rough and cut into my skin a little but they wore down and are perfectly comfortable.magnetic charging works flawlessly, and i don't always pay attention to which side says "magnetic" when i swap them out, i'll just look down the barrel from the eraser-end and align the flat edge of the sleeve with the flat pencil edge.

Looks good feels good, but charging is hit or miss
I like it. It feels nice and looks good. The problem is that charging is very hit or miss depending on your case.On a bare iPad it charges flawlessly. With the Logitech Combo Touch I need to remove the cap to get it too charge consistently, or sometimes it charges with the cap on but not constitant. The magnetic hold is still very good but not as strong and bare pencil of course.Over all I'm satisfied. I wish they figure out a design to make it more case friendly or make the charging more reliable with a case.

Can’t pair with iPad
Dang! Yet another super cool looking product that I had high hopes for only to be disappointed. First of all getting this thing on your Apple Pencil is a battle. Don’t believe the video it’s NOT that easy but after wrestling this thing for 20 minutes and finally getting it snugly on, my biggest disappointment was to learn my pencil no longer connects to my iPad. It snaps magnetically into place as it should but not enough to pair it. Unless of course you remove the case which after 20 minutes of fighting this thing, it’s never coming off again lol!For me also I like the extra grip feel but The silicon feel to me gets weird after awhile. (Even though I couldn’t use the pencil I have a habit of holding it while I work ) But that just personal preference. For those who have no issues with pairing that’s great but just because there are those of us who do doesn’t mean we should just get over it lol! I mean kind of pointless if we cant actually use the pencil!I ended up just cutting it in thirds and using the bottom third on my pencil. It still doesn’t charge but the grip is somewhat nice, and it’s easier to take on and off.

Did not charge while NOT in use. Throwing away.
So, it was difficult to get it on, even for a guy like me. Once on-it really did not give me much more grip, nor did it make writing easier. Went to use the following day and my iPad's iPencil did not work because it did not charge overnight. I carefully placed the notch towards the iPad, but it did not charge. Frankly, I peeled back the grip and gave it to my cat. It did not work for me. Might try the shorter thicker versions that are about 1 inch long and don't cover the entire pencil, so as to remove every time I charge. Didn't work for me, but did like the look, not enough to try again.

Love the look; Read the Instructions!
I didn’t read the reviews before buying this, I was sold on the style and look of this Apple Pencil cover. When it arrived, I thought I knew how to put it on and I was so wrong… I was ready to give up and return it since it wouldn’t stick very well magnetically, or charge, and that’s when I read through the reviews and realized my mistake.Read the instructions! It was very hard to slide on in the first place, and just as hard to take off. But once it was off I made sure it was lined up correctly with the magnetic side and now it sticks and charges just fine!Pros: looks great, blends in nicely with my keyboard case. Feels great, better grip not slippery while I write or draw, and charges and sticks perfectly.Cons: hard to put on and take off 🤣

Align the pencil properly if you expect it to charge!
This is a great addition to the Pencil. I buy black compute products, while the pencil is white only. This solved that, and the thinness Pencil issue that causes a cramp in my writing hand.I’m important to note that the magnetic alignment (to promote charging) is counter-intuitive because you want to align the text on the Pencil to the open slot on the silicone. This is incorrect. There’s an image on this sales page here that shows the correct alignment. And voila! That fixed it. I only caught it because another poster spelled it out to us.Mine is an iPad Pro in the Magic Keyboard folio (iPad magnetically attaches to it). Ergo, there is no border plastic between the iPad and the Pencil. The magnetic grip is not as strong with the silicone, but still fairly strong. I will say that is notably more likely to get knocked off when the iPad is closed and sitting on the desk. I will continue hunting for a better storage solution for when it doesn’t need to charge.

Great feel, not practical.
Feels great and secure, but it will not charge with it on (case or not iPad). I wanted to use it by charging the pencil without the case when needed but it’s quite the hassle.
