Designers lust over these pens. Non-toxic, with just the right thickness.
PROS:-high quality-variety of colors-brush-like strokes-good size-comes with a case that stands uprightCONS:-I don't have anyDESCRIPTION:One of my designers at work begged for these pens, and I finally caved. His rationale was that Sharpies, Prismacolors, and most brand name pens and markers are toxic or have a slightly unappealing scent. The other designers on my team had never used Stabilo before, but now they're hooked. These pens have been vetted by my artistic team, and have gone through a month of abuse (i.e. daily drawing and sketching) by our design team, which is saying a lot because they are picky, and only use the best drawing and sketching materials in order to deliver good fidelity screens to our clients. The black pen is the most used, and it still hasn't run out of ink. My designers guard these pens very jealously. The description says these pens says fiber tip, which doesn't seem to me to be that different from a felt pen (but I'm not a designer). It is called a 'pen' but is similar to a fine marker. The line is thinner and more fluid than a regular Sharpie marker or Bic Mark-It, but thicker than a Paper Mate Flair Point-Guard Porous Point Pens (which I also love); it is also tapered instead of rounded, allowing for fine lines or thicker lines. The tip is longer than both Sharpie and Paper Mate, and it presses down more easily and softly, so that you feel like it's a brush stroke (I think you might even be able to do calligraphy with these pens). The colors are vivid - the black is not as dark as a regular Sharpie, but it is a gorgeous lighter black color and the lines are smoother and have more more sophisticated character than when using Sharpie to write. These pens are being used by full-time, professional designers, whom have fallen in love with these markers, and I would definitely buy them again. I think they would be a great set for kids to use as well.

Great Pens for Coloring or Watercoloring
These German made pens are amazing. They are made for German students because they last a long time and do not dry out easily. They are water-based so you can use them for coloring or watercoloring. They are perfect for outlining a picture and using a little water pull the colors out. They also can blend with other colors. The price is not too high if you look at the versatility of these vibrant, easy to use art markers.

Amazing set of markers!
I did before another review for Stabilo pens, I love this brand! Where I live it's hard to get these markers. It's a 20 set, and I love the colors, the next time I will get the 30 set, but this one is really great. I use these for my adults coloring books, they don't bleed out and pass to the other side.It comes with a sturdy plastic case, I gave it to my brother because I have another case for my markers, but He really likes it!The only complaint that I have, it's that 2 markes came wrongly labeled, the number were upside down. I realize this because I also have the pens, and they should match, the colors and the numbers should match. So two pens and markers are the same color but different number. That's the only downside, but this is only important when you're buying these individuals.

Necessary Purchase!
Not for writing or detailed sketching, these are perfect for coloring, filling in areas, or larger more dynamic sketching projects. The pen tips can be worked almost like paint brushes if you keep a light hand.LOVE the packaging, both of the pens and the holder.HIghest recommendations for colorists and artists of all levels, who want an affordable set of marker colors, without feeling like they are shortchanging quality for price. Also, these are wonderfully portable with that cool case.Colors are rich and vibrant.Have worked with large areas and small areas well, and they are holding their own in terms of longevity, despite my enthusiastic use. Will happily purchase again.

Good water based markers for travel
My husband and I have been using these markers since Christmas 2014, and they have held up well. He is a professional artist and I go through spells where I am an avid coloring-book-er (whatever you want to call it) and between the both of us, they've gotten a lot of use. So far, none have dried up or changed consistency, and the nibs have remained the same shape even with my husband's heavy hand. The colors are all vibrant. None of the markers are close to pastel, even though it looks like a couple of them are in the photo. (My biggest complaint is that most of the colors look nothing like the plastic marker itself. I've gotten used to it as I've gotten to know the markers, but even now I usually test a color from this set before committing to it.) They aren't good for really fine details, and you won't want to use them on large areas, because they do they usual water-based marker streaking unless you exercise extreme caution. Also, they aren't even a little bit water resistant. But for decorating post cards in particular, I usually grab these. The variety of color is good for almost any coloring book design, and my husband has never felt constrained, either. The case is good, as it keeps them neat and compact, and it's good for travel. These would be great for a school kid, as they can fit easily down the side in a backpack. It's also nice to use these with the matching set of fine point markers, which can easily be found on here from Amazon or any number of other vendors. They are different enough that it's worth buying both even though the colors are the same.

Great! Vibrant!
These are just great markers! I got them to use when coloring in my adult coloring books. They're great because they can be fine tip when I need them to be and I can turn them on their side and fill things in quickly. The colors are vibrant and the ink flows smoothly. I like that if I leave the cap off for a little while they don't dry up too. Would definitely recommend these, and I am on the look out for some of the colors I don't already have.
