I bought this for my husband who loves it. It provides lots of useful information on when to go out star gazing. Plenty of excellent advice also

Good Book - lot of good knowledge in it

Arrived in great condition. Book is small and thin and has lots of information packed inside. Only thing is that i thought the book would have lots of pictures and be beginner friendly, which it does not entirely seem to be. The information is laid out month by month, which some diagrams and pictures but there is a lot of text

I buy this every year. It's clear and concise for both novice and more advanced readers.Storm Dunlop was my astronomy (and meteorology) tutor for 2 years and his fund of knowledge was well, astronomical! Our class was an eclectic, happy mix of students from astrophysicists to an ex-star trek fan wanting to learn about the real universe (wonder who that was!)This book explains so much about the month-by-month night sky - so read, then maybe go out and explore its infinite wonders . It might even tempt you to invest in a planisphere (readily available from Amazon).

Very informative information contained in this small easy read book.

A fabulous gift for a budding astronomer. It has all the dates they need to help them use their telescope in the best possible way. My daughter absolutely loves it, super happy!
