Falafel Scoop Cooking Tool for Making Large Felafel Balls

Before getting this i had been using a regular tablespoon as the only method that didn't absolutely suck. Since getting this little tool its become a lot easier to make consistent falafel that is pretty uniform in size. It washes easy and works well.

it's not a high-end stainless steel falafel scoop, but it works really well and makes it much easier to make falafel quickly/with less mess. very happy with it! tip: dip the scoop in the oil first before starting to shape your falafel to make it come out of the scoop a bit more easily/cleanly.

It took a little practice, but my felafels are more uniform and I like using it. The moisture in your Felafel mixture is an important key to success.

Bought this to replace my old one that broke. The springs are too tight that it hurts to hold down too long and they aren’t deep enough.

It is too expensive.

This is a great little tool for making falafel. You can make many many falafels in very little time and keeps your hands from getting all messy in the falafel mix. Highly recommended.

Excellent Product, tough long lasting construction. HOWEVER...... I'm quite small and have small hands and found this scoop difficult to hold onto. I needed to use my pinky finger at the bottom for leverage but that was quite uncomfortable. The ball shape on the flip bar isn't comfortable to press either. I'm just hoping in time this break in and loosen up and become a bit easier and more comfortable to use. But without a doubt my new favorite kitchen item for forming beautiful falafel.
