Who doesn't like fruitcake? This is delicious and moist and full of fruit! Love the filling as well .taste very wholesome.

I bought this fruit cake for my husband and I didn't expect to like it much. Oh my! I'm blown away by how delicious and fresh the ingredients are. It has a rich but not heavy old world tasting base in between the colorful fruits. My taste buds have changed and I love it. This is my new, oh so good sweet, but not too sweet, treat. Forget birthday cake. I want this fruit cake and a glass of champagne. I'm going to buy another one, maybe even two. Do yourself a favor and get this fruit cake. Flavorful and quality ingredients. It's a win, win.

The advertising of this product is somewhat misleading. The ingredients listed on the Amazon page are raisins, cherries, pineapple, nuts, etc. but the actual ingredients list on the package gives orange peel as the second ingredient. I prefer fruitcake without the citrus ingredient flavors and was somewhat disappointed. For a citrus-containing fruitcake, though, it is moist and does have a good flavor.

Delicious fruit cake packed with fruit. Reasonable price.

Don't get me wrong, this fruit cake is good and I enjoyed every bite, but I was expecting it to taste like an authentic caribbean fruit cake. it's not that. The dried fruit is packed in so tightly that there is very little cake. Actually, it's hard to find cake in this recipe. Now I like dried fruit (and this recipe has loads) but for me, I like a good combination of cake and fruit. This has too much dried sweetened fruit that it should be called a Dried Fruit Roll. And boy is it sweet. Be ready for a burst of a high glycemic count. A small slice is all you need. So, all in all I give them 3 stars for the taste (it's very good) and lack of cake. It's not that authentic. It probably went the way of Amos Chocolate Chip Cookies and lost it's original recipe when the company was taken over. Oh, and by the way, a few more nuts in the recipe would be nice.

Delightful! My husband ; I were talking about missing fruitcake at Christmas-time. Then I found these delicious fruitcakes. I have been purchasing two every few weeks because we enjoy them so much.

Orange peel is the second ingredient and you can taste the peel. There are plenty of nuts and that’s good but the fruit has a rubbery consistency. Not the best but not the worse either.
