My newborn was instantly red and irritated as soon as the seatbelt touched his skin this was a lifesaver and he no longer acts so uncomfortable so it must have made him feel a lot better too. I have better piece of mind knowing that he's more comfortable but also it isn't too big to cause any issues with the seatbelt fitting safely and securely, if anything it adds to his safety because God forbid we ever did get in a wreck that seat belt pulling on his skin really quickly would definitely hurt him. The quality seems great, the stitching is good and everything. The fact that it's a two pack allowed me to use a pair for my toddler as well and she likes them too. Even if you don't need them for two kids it's great to have one pair for the car seat and one for a swing.
