Comfy, great noise cancelation and sound I Great!
Update/Edit: Customer service got back to me and let me know I had the wrong Headset for my phone. was still great even for the wrong one. This particular one is not for the Avaya J159. they sent me out the correct one and it's PERFECT!. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LT46B2G?ref=myi_title_dpHad these now a couple months and I love them! noise cancelation is great, and they are comfy. only issue is the sound quality. I hear perfect but the other person can barely hear me. ive tried all the adapters and only this one works. thought it might be a them issue but after so many calls, its me. A coworker has the same headset and they dont need any adapter, works perfect.

Great Wired Headset
My original review stated, "I didn't think the headset sounded very good. It had lots of noise/static... I returned it." Since that review, things have changed....Wantek reached out to me and said that I had ordered the wrong headset for my Nortel M3904 telephone. Additionally, they offered to send me the correct one to try. I thanked them and told them I'd love to try it so they sent it out free of charge! And as my headline says, the new/proper headset works great. It's comfortable, sounds good (both speaker and microphone) and simply allows you to have a conversation without the use of your hands or speakerphone. I'm so happy with the headset, that I'm planning to buy several more, for other people in our office. So not only did Wantek exhibit superior customer service, but once I got the correct product, it's great!

BOTH EARS HAVE SOUND!!!! UPDATED!
UPDATE #2 - - So Sound is coming through both sides, however, i have gotten complaints ALL day of people not being able to hear me. :( Going to contact Wantek and let them know. I'll update with response but i have faith they will make it right.UPDATE: So Shortly after i wrote my review, Wantek contacted me via email to ask for the model number of my phone and my shipping address. Intrigued I provided both, to which I received a response that they were sending me a brand new headset free of charge with no requirements to return my original headset. I am so impressed with their customer service. I never sent them a message or complaint directly. They were in no way required to even respond to my review, but they took the initiative to make sure I was satisfied. It is very hard to find a company that will do that nowadays. The new headset came very quickly after their email and it works wonderfully with sound in BOTH ears!!!! Upgrade to 5 stars because headset works the way i wanted and their customer service team is just OUTSTANDING! Will go with Wantek with all future headset purchases. My main dislike about this headset is that i specifically purchased the one with both ears covered, however, sound only comes out of one side. Other than that, its been effective in its job. I use this for work everyday and have had no issues. I have been using it for about 6 months and its still holding up well.

Panasonic KX-TG4771: Yes, works w/ regular, landline, old school phones
Yes, this is compatible with 'regular' old landline phones. In my case, that's a Panasonic KX-TG4771 corded desktop phone. The phone came with a cordless phone bundled, and I had the same brand of headset for the cordless unit. Unfortunately, the 2.5mm jack stopped working. (And, side note, I got pretty tired of replacing the cordless batteries.) Rather than buying a whole new phone system, I tried this. Glad I did!Pros:Sound quality, incoming at least, is plenty loud and steady—no crackling or hissing noises. It seems likely this is a much more robust way to attach a headset vs. the 2.5mm jacks; time will tell. It's comfortable and very light; can wear it for long times with no discomfort. The quick disconnect is very handy as you can easily decouple and go for a beverage refill. Both the mute and volume controls work perfectly. The build quality is quite decent.Cons:Well, compared to having the old headset attached to a cordless (i.e., walkabout) phone, this one of course leaves you tethered to your desk. Of course, that's not a con of the headset; more of my mindset! The microphone (outgoing) volume *might be* a little low, had one person complain early on. Since then, I make sure the mic is close and that seems to do the trick. The volume switch could use better visual indication of which way is up and down. There are *tiny* tick marks on the side, but you better have good eyes and good light if you want to see those.Overall:For the price, this is a great headset for those few of us who actually still engage in the ancient art of talking to people!

Amazing choice
I have only used it for 2 days. I purchased them for work. The audio is amazing. It plugged right into the job's landline phone and I didn't have to set anything up. Just plug in and go!

Worked fine but not very comfortable
SET UP: Setting the headset up was easy (just plug and play with my Polycom VVX 411 desk phone). I liked the adjustable headband and mic arm - not just up and down but side to side.SOUND: At first I found the microphone picking up on my breath - sounded like wind or forceful breath when I talked - but moving the mic arm up above my lips and out to the side a little helped. I asked several clients if I sounded ok and they said they could hear me. I could hear them just fine as well. I wouldn't say the sound quality was great, but good enough for a $30 headset.COMFORT: After about 15-20 minutes of wear, the plastic cushion on the reverse side of the ear cushion started hurting. Perhaps I have a sensitive head/scalp, but I'm a woman with curly hair so I already had some amount of built-in cushion between my head and the plastic piece. The material is somewhat flexible and definitely stays put, but I found it hard and uncomfortable, so I am returning it. Might try their model with two headphones if I don't find a comparably-priced headset with better reviews.
