Hanes Men's ComfortSoft Moisture Wicking Tagless Tank Undershirts-Multipacks

My husband has been wearing these exact tanks for years. He usually buys them in a local store and pays quite a bit more for them, but I decided to try one pack online to see if they are the same. They are. They fit as expected and he is happy to have 4 brand new tanks.My husband says they do shrink a little bit with the first wash, but it’s not overly noticeable. He likes that they get softer after the first wash as well. (We wash his clothes on warm--or sometimes hot--and tumble dry on medium heat.) He wears this brand of tank every day, under his casual clothing and under his work uniform. They are long enough to tuck in, and he says they aren’t so long that they wad up under his waistline.These tanks are tagless and the ink at the back of the neck is not bothersome. The seams and hem are not itchy either. I will be buying these online from Amazon instead of locally since they are so much cheaper here.I purchased these tanks at full price as a personal purchase.

I am a woman with hormonal issues! Anyone in this situation knows exactly what I mean when I say that sleeping sweat free is something to strive for! I say that with a chuckle! I have searched high and low for something that is comfortable, cotton, that allows my body to breathe. Synthetic fabrics? Forget it! They capture the heat. Bad, very bad. So, I knew I needed cotton, but, what...a night gown, tee shirt...what? Quite by accident, I found these wonderful tanks! I get just enough body coverage to make me feel comfortable, yet, my arms and legs are free to keep cool and comfy! The fabric is soft to the touch. I got a large size because I wanted to be able to put in the dryer and allow for shrinkage. This is money well spent! So, if you face the same dilemma, give these a try. I'm a woman, but I like to buy men's tees for sleeping and wearing under loose/sheer shirts and slim cardigans or for an extra layer of warmth in cold weather. I'm moving back towards kind of a minimalist wardrobe, so I don't need a rainbow of colors nor the higher prices of women's tanks. I also purchased a pack of white tanks, which have been part of my summer uniform for ages.From experience, I'll have these for years. They'll shrink a little in length, which is fine as they're a bit long now, but they'll still be able to be tucked into pants.My only complaint is that I wish it weren't luck of the draw in terms of colors. I know the description says color combinations vary, but I was hoping for two black and two grey, as in the photo, and instead got all grey. It would be nice to be able to choose.

Let's start with the reason I bought these here. I was shopping at my local big box store for a pack of black undershirts. I was shopping for these specifically, but they only came in mixed packs (grey+black). When I accepted that I noticed the price, outrageous. I quickly pulled up Amazon and realized they were a third of the price shipped. Being the thrifty/realistic person I am I went ahead and ordered 3 packs. Same quality and three times the amount of undershirts. Either order your size or even a size up since they fit snug in a good way. Not something I'd ever wear in public without a shirt on, but they fit/feel great. Order a pack and enjoy. Remember the grey goes under light colors and black goes under mid-dark colors.

We bought these for my husband to wear under his chef coats at work. He usually fits a medium (38-40 chest) and they fit perfectly (not too tight and most importantly not loose at all). I found that they also fit me too which is kind of an added bonus!The tank tops are made of 100% cotton and are soft to the touch and even softer after several washes. We received the right size, the right colours and there were no issues with the shirts. For just under $10 this is a great deal!!

I know these are cheap tanks and you get what you pay for, but Hanes obviously gives zero effort in trimming the sew seam at the shoulders as others have pointed out. Fully 3/8" to 1/2" excess seam flaps on both sides of both shoulders, meaning you need to get scissors and trim each shirt 4 places.They are also very shrinky and small fitting, after washing they are the diameter of a gym sock and you got to squeeze into them and then look like a partly exploded can of biscuits a few hours until the fabric stretches out a bit.Still, solid shirts hence the 3 star ratings. I just bought another set, one size larger in hopes of avoiding looking like I'm wearing dance tights.

I bought these pretty much solely to sleep in. Such tanks allow me to remain with a thin layer of clothing, without making me hot. They are not top of the line in texture or fabrication, but they definitely get the job done for their very reasonable price. I would recommend to anyone in the market for a tank undershirt.
