Adore 13" Standing Mallory The Mallard Duck with Duckling Stuffed Animal Plush Toy

Bought for my daughter after she made a friend on vacation that was a female Mallard duck. It would run up to her and eat food from her hand! So when we headed home from vacation she didn't want to leave the friendly little duck behind, so....compromise....we bought her this one to keep as a friend. Can't imagine a plane right home with a duck lol. Anyways, this is a beautiful stuffed animal, its very soft and the perfect size. And it's saving me from having to start a farm of ducks.

Mallory The Mallard Duck stuffy with little Duckling Plush Toy is a cute and closer to realistic Mallard ducks than what we are used to. The native real life ducks, the Koloa Maoli, that we have in my (Mariner’s Village) neighborhood here in Hawaii have interbred with the Mallard and they all look akin to this stuffy, especially the duckling; The duckling is very color accurate, and the texture looks about as fluffy as those real life peepers are. I like that the designer thought to add that violet “window” patch of feathers on the wings. The feet of the mother duck have wire supports in them so as to be able to bend and stand it upright or sit it more stably in place. The ducking has no such wires but it is attached to the mother’s leg by a thin plastic fastener near its tail. In conclusion, whilst other stuffy’s are plain and bland, this attempt is closer to real life accuracy and I can appreciate the effort of the designer to match that aesthetic. Both the mother and her duckling are very cute and they have the ability to be posed in the right standing or sitting orientation. Every time I look at them, there is just something about the twinkle in their eyes that I like. I can wholeheartedly say that I approve of this stuffy set.

despite arriving with two holes, the duck is realistic. My toddler didn't mind the imperfections, so we decided to keep it. She is very happy!

I used this in a Halloween Old McDonald costume/scene, the kids loved it. It was very detailed and looked very real but so soft. This company's animals are truly amazing. They are a joy to hold and absolutely perfect to use for scene creation because they look so realistic. So many of the kids wanted to take them home because of there cuddlyness and true to life size/look.
