Rockport Mens Gyk Blucher

Great shoe,but downsizing recommended.
I received these shoes recently and they fit and feel great, lightweight, and look great too. They also seem durable so far. However,Rockport seems to make their shoes a bit bigger(longer)than regular shoes/sneakers which makes sense due to the fact they are more of a dress shoe.Dress shoes and boots usually fit anywhere from a half to a full size bigger in most brands and cases.I wear an 11W in regular shoes/sneakers,and ordered a 10 1/2 W and glad I did because they fit right and still have the appropriate room at the toe.Had I ordered my usual size(11W),they would have been too long. The shape of a person's foot may also be a factor. So I would recommend ordering a half size down, but be your own judge. Thanks for reading.

Light weight, wears well
This is my 3rd pair. Wore these daily for over 10 years while working. Light weight and comfortable. Oldest pair is now for yard work, cleans easily and nearly waterproof. Middle pair is for blue jeans and scruffy situations. Newest pair is for slacks and dress casual.

Great shoes with one issue
Nice looking shoes. Comfortable fit. Only issue is they don’t breath well — my feet end up sweating in them.

Avoid this shoe. It used to be great, now it is absolute junk.
A couple of things. 1) Rockport has changed to a Chinese vendor for this shoe, and they don't use a leather upper, so my toes are poking through after walking 337 miles (I walk 4 miles every day in these. 2) The same shoes made in Vietnam went to almost 900 miles and I wore the soles out. This shoe is now junk. 3) When I first got them, they were very uncomfortable, but they broke in after about 3 weeks (but my toes were sore during that time) 4) I paid $70 for these shoes, they used to be worth that, but now I have to tell you avoid them. I'm very disappointed with Rockport, this was a bad decision on their part. I don't recommend these. Avoid.

Fairly comfortable, but no arch support and narrow toe box
I ordered a wide, as I normally do. The toe box is still fairly tight, even with the laces opened up as much as possible. When I walk, I can feel myself overpronating, due to lack of arch support. I fear changing the insole will make the toe box even tighter, but will try that next.Almost sent them back right away, but decided to try them at work. They wont be an every day shoe due to the issues stated above, but they will be ok from time to time on cold days when I dont want to wear my NB 880s or Brooks with the mesh materials they are built with.I'm disappointed with this being my first pair of Rockports... its difficult to find much information on toe box width, arch support, etc with this brand. Maybe I will go to DSW and try some different styles and brands of dress sneakers on next, before I buy anything else.

Comfort shoe
My husband love this shoe, he wears it to work and he speak of all day comfort and how soft it is on the inside.

If this is a sneaker, I'm a pygmy
Very lightweight, very sturdy, very comfortable. Wore this shoe for daily use (to work etc.) for two years until the sole was pretty well eroded. A couple of times I had to take it to a cobbler (we have those where I live) to have the front end of the sole glued back to the upper. Very satisfactory investment IMHO. Replaced it with the same model.
