PeugeotVintage Multi-Function Watch, Perpetual Calendar with Moon Phase

Amazing detail
Puegot has hit it out of the ballpark with this one. The functioning operates perfectly. It is a little lighter than I like but the value and size is perfect and not to mention that it is beautiful.

Trusty Espon Seiko VX3H movement wrapped in vintage package.
It's a bit on the pricey side but its uniqueness is why I bit a bullet and bought to see if it is worth it. Being nervous after reading reviews and unclear specs, the first thing I did after I received was to pop the case back to examine the inside.Regarding its unclear water resistance. Although the case back is a pop open type, it does have a rubber gasket so I would say it suffices for a light shower rain and splash. Perhaps somewhere between 1-3 ATM rating. The movement is indeed by Epson (Seiko) as claimed which is a VX3H caliber that uses an SR920SW battery and should last 3 years. The quartz movement has 1 jewel. The case and its mineral glass feel thin so be cautious. It should be treated as a luxury dress watch, not an everyday warrior. Those 2 perpetual calander bezels are manually rotated and only need an adjustment once a month. So it is as easy as skipping the 31th date on some months. These bezels are driven by 2 plastic gears and the implementation is well done. The adjustment crowns do not turn themselves by accident which would be very annoying. I am happy with this function.I consider its weight to be among the extra light. I barely feel it on my wrist which to me is a plus. But it isn't so light that it feels cheap. The weight is appropriate for watches in the thin category. The 40mm case size is neither small or big, coupled with a 20mm strap. It is definitely a unisex watch. The picture shows its proportion on my 7 inch male wrist.1 star minus for the clumsy Roman number IV mistake and its comparative pricey-ness, although it actually does look pricey, to be fair. This is a time piece to show off. It is really that beautiful!! So is it worth it? Absolutely if you plan to use it as a dress watch and treat with care.**UPDATE** Purchased in June. The battery died in September, even though when I received, the crown was pulled out to save the energy. The 2nd hand jumps in 2 second intervals when the power is low, which is a useful feature. The watch must have been idle in the stock for too long. The next surprise is the VX3H movement is specified with a SR920SW but I found an SR916SW in this watch. The battery is supped to last 3 years with an SR920SW but with the included thinner SR916SW, you probably get around 2 years. I could replace the battery by myself and put an SR920SW instead.

The watch looks great, they need to improve the quality of the strap
The watch looks good, it doesn't actually have a moonphase, it just tells you if it is day or night. The strap is definetly not leather, it looks quite different from the picture. I decided to keep it as for the price is still a good watch

Got to have!
This is like no other watch! Nice looking but can be worn with anything. Love the perpetual calendar, not surprising Peugeot would come up with that! Absolutely love it!
