I grabbed a couple of the B-grade cans for ammunition storage.I couldn’t be happier with the quality I received.Minor rust on 1 lid, and the insides of both are pristine. I didn’t even need to wipe them out before use.Easy sand and paint on the outside if I get a wild hair, but totally unnecessary.

Outside had no rust or dents, just military desert brown paint used to cover black nomenclature #'s, nothing that effects it. Inside was like new and seal was like new. I use it for those loose welding rods that seem to be accumulating anymore in my shop now that work has all but died and welding rods have gone through the ceiling in price due to horrid economy, throwing away opened boxed rods doesn't seem prudent anymore. Loose, regular 14 inch rods fit perfect with dividers between different rods. Throw in large silica pack and you're good to go.

I bought the used offering and got the used offering. A few dents, a thin coat of green paint, but mechanically sound. usable. Glad for the discount on the B-grade item.

It arrived as described. I bought some army green spray paint, make some decals that remind me of my military background. Thanks guys!

I ordered 2 of these. Seals are in good shape. One of them is in great shape for grade 2 and looks to have original paint. The other is grade 2 but approaching grade 3. That one has been repainted in the past and is definitely a different lid than its original. It is also quite musty. Will definitely need to clean. Overall I'd say that the price, shipping, Item descriptions, quality, etc is good and as expected... If you want a new condition 40mm box you can watch Midway USA for a sale. You can get one 40mm, two 50cal, and 20 30cal cans, all new, for ~$85.

I got a used one. These are used as groovers (porta potties) on river trips. I seem to have gotten one of those because it smells terrible when opened. Would have been nice if it had been cleaned before shipping. But I can clean it out and it seems water tight, so it should be fine
