Fantastic product
These are the first gloves.I have ever purchased that actually protect me from rose and blackberry thorns. I purposely went into a thicket of wild black berry and cut some of the Vine. And didn't feel one single thing. Also, I have rose bushes with wicked thorns and did not get stuck even once. The goatskin leather is thick and yet soft and flexible to move in. The gauntlets are made with swayed, which also protects. It is heavy duty and these gloves.Go up to your elbow. I ordered a medium but I could have ordered a small so be advised that they do run big. But this way my son and I can both use them as his hands are larger than mine. This is a high quality product and I highly recommend it, It's worth every penny

Not useful for grasping thorny plants
These will protect my arms nicely, but I have already been stuck with rose and blackberry thorns on my hands. The hand part is nice and flexible so I will keep them for light gardening where I still want to protect my arms, b it I’m going to have to buy a pair that have the thick leather on the hands for more serious handling of thorny plants.

Bigger is better in a work glove
I admit I was put off by the images of these gloves showing wide stumpy fingers. When they arrived a week ago I compared them to other gauntlets I have (at least two pair, one with the fingers worn off), and it's true: the fingers are wide and just long enough for my large women's hands. See image. Glad I bought a Medium even though I'm small by today's standards. I've been burned too many times with too small gloves. What sold me on these gloves were two surprising things: #1, how long the gauntlets are, and #2, how easy it is to pull these gloves off and put them back on. Gauntlet length is a big plus for me because I'm allergic and can get rash on my forearms from plants and grass. The length of the gauntlets is fine summer or winter. They're big enough that cotton sleeves will fit inside in cooler weather. I bucked 20 bales of hay in a tee shirt on a hot day and didn't get hay in the gloves.Fact is, there are jobs you just can't do with gloves, fine motor movements. I always knew that pulling gloves on and off and on again was an annoyance, but now I realize bigger is better. I can handle tools, faucets and most latches with them on, but it's hard to tie knots. The gloves whip off in an instant, and it's no struggle to pull them back on even with arthritis in both hands.I use these glove around my horse barn to handle hay for my horses and to muck. I will also use them for pruning a few hundred roses come fall. They might not be the right glove if you want to look cute in your Daisy Mae's but as a soft work gloves, they excel.

Great Gloves
I really hesitated to purchase these. I have a different pair that I love and have worn out. I looked for the same and could not find them. After looking again and again, I decided to buy these. If I didn't like them I would send them back. Very pleased. Seem strudy yet soft to put on. My hands and arms are protected when I do my large lilac bushes and other trimming. I would not hesitate on buying this same brand again. Glad I settled on these. They are worth every penny and I saved my body. Thank you.
